The link address is the unique name of the website, file or email address to which the link will navigate to. This cannot be blank, as your link must point to a new location.

Most likely your account has timed out. Close the browser window and then begin a new shopping session. If this is the first time you are using a particular browser to order and the pages immediately go blank, the browser cookie settings may be disabled.

This is a quirk of Internet Explorer. When you select a service that requires Find It McGill to search another database, "about:blank" is shown while the search is taking place. Once results are displayed, the "about:blank" disappears and the correct URL for the site displays.
