Students entering grades K-4 are tested for Achievement and readiness. Testing information for 2008-09 school year applicants will be available on the admissions page in early October 2008. The Independent School Entrance Examination (ISEE) is required for applicants to grades 5-12. The ISEE was developed by the Edu-cation Records Bureau and is used by over 1,100 independent schools as part of the admissions process. The test lasts approximately three hours and is offered on a variety of dates.

Three SAT II Subject Tests are highly recommended. It is recommended that you take one Math (of your choice), one Science (of your choice), and then a third of your choice.

You must complete the MCAT (Medical College Admission Test). If you have questions regarding the MCAT requirement, please contact the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Office of Admission.

The MSHRM will accept either the GMAT, GRE or Miller Analogies Test. Tests may be waived if the applicant has earned a prior Masters Degree in Business or a quantitative field.

Applicants for certification must pass the Liberal Arts and Science Test (LAST), the Assessment of Teaching-Skills-Written (ATS-W) and Content Specialty Test (CST).

Formal admissions interviews are not required, unless requested by the Admissions Committee. Invitations to interview are communicated after an initial review of your completed application. Candidates who wish to schedule an interview can do so during our open interview time in the fall. http://www.bus.wisc.edu/mba/visit/interviews.asp Unless requested by the Admissions Committee, interviews are considered optional. You are not penalized for not interviewing.

The purpose of the tests is to identify students who have a natural technological and scientific ability, and to ensure that places are offered across the whole ability spectrum.

Applicants to grades K through 5 must contact the Educational Records Bureau to take a test appropriate to their grade levels. Applicants to grades 6 through 11 take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) administered by the Educational Records Bureau. In these days of "grade inflation" and inconsistent standards for assigning grades, college admissions officers need a "common denominator." They need a measuring stick that can be applied to all the applicants in an equitable way. The SAT and ACT serve this purpose. Another important reason for giving the test is to measure "whether an applicant thinks like a successful college freshman.

A complete ultrasound is required. This state-of-the-art technology provides painless and non-invasive testing, and is performed in the physician's office.

Students who have already earned an Associates Degree or higher may be exempt from taking the Placement Test but need to take a copy of their transcript (unofficial ok) to a counselor for completion of a Waiver form. For students applying to the Registered Nursing, Physical Therapist Assistant, and/or Respiratory Therapist Ohlone programs, the English placement test is required regardless of a previous degree.

A student may take a few courses without taking placement tests, but you should take the placement test series when you can. The placement process is for your benefit, so that you neither start at a higher level than you can benefit from nor at so low a level as to waste your time (and money!). Placement testing covers three areas: reading, writing, and math. It's free and conducted year around, so it is convenient for even the busiest of students.

After applying on-line, if you meet the minimum requirements of a job you will receive an email with an invitation to test if the job is still open.

Post doctoral fellows are required by the School to complete an admissions application, complete with three letters of recommendation and all transcripts of college level work. It is best if the prospective post doctoral fellow peruses departmental materials to select a faculty member with whom they are best qualified to work. A personal contact should then be made to this faculty member asking if the possibility exists for post doctoral studies.

The photocopies of all relevant documents which are necessary for academic eligibility and proof are required for the admissions. You will get the list of documents at the time of enquiry.

While there is no test required to be admitted to the program, standard assessment tests are given for math and English placement.

interview is not required and cannot be requested as part of the MPA admissions process. GAMSAT is the Graduate Medical Schools Admissions Test. Some courses want applicants to take additional tests like this. Information about these tests is available here.

The Estate Administration Act establishes the priority of relatives' rights to inherit and thus to administer the estate. Spouses and common law spouses (including common law spouses of the same gender) have first priority, followed by children, grandchildren (or guardians on their behalves), and parents. Siblings and children of predeceased siblings are next, followed by nieces and nephews. Any one of the heirs to an estate can administer the estate with the consent of all the other heirs.

A general medical checkup is recommended to determine if a woman has any risk factors that may contraindicate HRT. A routine exam should include a check of blood pressure, breasts, abdomen, and pelvis.

Keep in mind that your goal is to become a physician assistant; therefore, your volunteer experience should provide you with as much exposure/experience as possible to the roles and responsibilities of physicians, PA's and or other medical professional, whose primary responsibility is patient care. Familiarity with the "tools of the trade," hospital, and various medical procedures is valuable.

You are required to take TOEFL exam. Upon arrival at CSU, before registration for courses, they will be required to take the COMPASS math placement test. And you did not satisfy language proficiency requirement by some other means, you are required to take the TOEFL. In addition, all prospective graduate students are required to take a standardized graduate test (GRE, GMAT for MBA applicants or MAT).

One letter of recommendation and an essay (refer to application form for specific topic) is required. An interview may be required at the discretion of the Director of Admission. Applicants must complete 17 Carnegie units: 4 English; 3 Math (Algebra I, II, and Geometry); 2 laboratory sciences; 2 social sciences; and 6 electives.

U.S. new freshman and transfer students with fewer than 30 semester/45 quarter hours applying to any CES school must complete and submit the following: American College Test (ACT) scores or Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) scores (not required at LDSBC, except for home schooled applicants) U.S.
