No. This isn't an anti-smoking crusade. Most teenagers who smoke think they can quit whenever they want. They won't know they have a gorilla on their backs until they have tried to quit a couple of times. That's when they will be ready for this program.

The classes that are sponsored by the Dance Center are all adult classes. We have an extensive array of classes avaiilable at many levels and in many dance forms. Go here to see a full listing of our current classes. Students younger than 13 are not allowed in open classes. If a teenager has a background in dance and can handle an adult level class, they are welcome to participate. Young students are encouraged to check out the programs available through LINES Ballet School.

Premenstrual symptoms can begin anytime after a woman begins to menstruate and, on average, menstruation begins at around 12 ½ years of age in the U.S. Women tend to seek treatment for premenstrual symptoms in their late twenties and early to mid-thirties, so it is difficult to know exactly when milder premenstrual symptoms actually become severe enough to be considered PMDD. Even though PMDD is usually first diagnosed after adolescence, it can certainly occur in teenagers.

Unless prohibited by state regulations, Teenagers may be treated. It is, of course, wise to have the permission of the Parents of Teens under legal age. We have treated Teenagers very successfully many times.

Most teens do not use drugs, but for those who do, it can lead to a wide range of adverse effects on the brain, the body, behavior and health. Short term: Even a single use of an intoxicating drug can affect a person's judgment and decisonmaking—resulting in accidents, poor performance in a school or sports activity, unplanned risky behavior, and the risk of overdosing.

Yes and no. Yoga is all we do, but we offer many workshops designed to advance students understanding of the non-physical aspects of yoga, such as meditation. We send yoga teachers to corporations, hospitals, schools and retirement centers, and we offer consulting for small studios and off-site teacher trainings. Because we want to promote more yoga for more people, we are committed to bringing our yoga anyplace a teacher can travel.

Skate Park on Santa Rosa St. open Tuesday - Sunday, closed Mondays. All participants must have a waiver filled out by Parent/Guardian, helmet, $2, and knee pads if under 12 years of age. Helmets may be borrowed at no cost. Teen Hang Outs: One Friday a month 7th and 8th graders can dance, play pool, basketball, and other games, while enjoying friends, food, and a fabulous time. All participants must have a waiver filled out by Parent/Guardian, $2 and school Id card.

The quiet and relaxed lifestyle of Paxos may not suit some teenagers, though there are three discos in Gaios. The water sports may, however, make up for the lack of night time excitement. There are plenty of boats available for hire from Gaios, Loggos and Lakka. Also in Lakka there is a water sports equipment rental shop and scuba diving school. An excursion to Anti-Paxos or a trip to the west coast Blue Caves may also keep teenagers happy.

E.M.I. is an interactive, web-based learning program comprised of a series of courses which provide instructors the opportunity to provide class content in various formats. These formats include: Standard presentation of content, guided activities, individual practice, and assessment through message forum-type classes. Students log into a class and downloads, copies or reads the notes left by the instructor. Performance-based activities provide educators with "hands-on" learning.

HOR132, Pesticide Selection & Use is a full term course offered both winter and spring quarters to help prepare one to take the Oregon Department of Agriculture pesticide licensing exams. Additionally pesticide core training workshops are held during the fall and winter terms.

Four times per year: A 14-week Fall Term begins the third week of September and ends just before the holidays. A 14-week Winter Term begins the second week of January and ends at the end of April. A 6-week May Mini Term begins the first week of May and concludes in mid-June. Classes for the 10-week Summer Term begin the last week of June and end in late August.
