Where does the funding from ArtsSmarts come from?
ArtsSmartsThe J. W. McConnell Family Foundation committed 3.5 million dollars in Phase I (1998-2001); it made up 100% of the total program funding for ArtsSmarts and was considered seed funding. In Phase II (2001-2004) the Foundation invested another 3 million dollars, however, both existing and new ArtsSmarts Partners were encouraged to diversify their funding sources in order to sustain their programs.
