Recent changes to Microsoft's Internet Explorer result in this error message. Just click on the "No" in the error message and the password will be set. We currently recommend that you use Netscape or Firefox browsers.

The most common errors happen when you use upper case or lower case letters incorrectly. The password is case -sensitive, which means your password must be exactly as it appears in the auction records. The second problem comes frequently when folks copy and paste passwords and they inadvertently include a space before or after the letters in the password. You will get a "cannot use non-numeric" error message.

If you use the Forgot Your Password? feature to reset your password, and you get an error message (such as "Invalid session id"), then delete cookies from your browser and try again. To delete cookes in Firefox: Go to Tools | Options | Privacy | Show Cookies | Remove All Cookies | Close | OK Also note that the link in the password reset email is only good for one hour. If it has been more than one hour since you received the email, request another one on the Password Reset page.

The exact error message looks like Could not find USB device (vendor 0x0000, product 0x0000). Make sure this device is connected to the computer You have to set up the permissions on your USB device correctly. See Section 4.3, "Setting up permissions for USB ports".

If you receive the following error message: "The login information you provided is incorrect. Try Again." please try the following: Click on "Try Again" to return to the original Log On page. Once there, please click on "I forgot my password." The next screen will allow you to enter your username so that a new password can be emailed to you. Please enter your username and click on "Send Password."

After six failed login attempts, the system will disable your username as a security measure. Users have three attempts to log in before their password is locked out. After three attempts, the customer will need to call the bank to have their log-in cleared or password reset.

Using a different password Offline to the one stored and used online causes this. If there is a conflict the user can get locked out of the system. If this happens contact your company administrator or Signifo Support who will issue you with a new password. You should log in to the live system using this and follow the instructions to select a new password. This new password should be used Online and Offline.

A 403 Error usually occurs when a username has been blocked due to possible sharing by more than one individual. When our security software detects more than one I.P. address using the same username within a certain amount of time it interprets this as a possible security risk and temporarily suspends the login. If your Internet Service Provider uses a proxy server (which is the case with AOL), we have experienced a few cases where usernames are mistakenly blocked.

Error 401 is usually generated when an invalid combination of a username/password is entered. Users are given three attempts to enter their username/password correctly. If they fail on all three attempts an Error 401 will be returned. Please check you confirmation email to be sure you are using the correct username/password. Please be aware that the username/password combo is cAsE sEnsItiVe.

Access to the sites are supplied on a single user licence basis only - so if you share with one of your colleagues they may already be logged in. If you are confident that nobody is using the same username and password then it could be that you have left the site without pressing the logout button. Please close all browser windows and try again after 15 minutes. If you still are not able to log on then call customer services.

The User ID and/or Password you entered could be incorrect or the modem was unable to negotiate a compatible protocol. Before you start connecting again, retype your User ID and password.

Users have 3 tries to login before their password is locked out. After 3 tries, the customer will need to call the bank to have their login cleared or password reset. We have found that the Session Timeout Errors come from Internet Explorer 6.0. Here are a couple things to try. Open Internet Explorer and go to Tools-Internet Options-Privacy Tab. Make sure this is set to Medium. Then click on the Edit button on that same screen.

Verify that your username and password are correct. If you still are getting this error message, your Internet Explorer version maybe 5 or lower. You will need to upgrade your browser. It means that the Username or Password that you have entered is not a valid combination. If you have forgotten your Username and Password, you may go to the Forgot Password section under Profile to obtain your password. You may also send an e-mail to the webmaster, who will then send your password to you upon matching your e-mail address with our database.

If there is a number in your password, try using the numbers above the letter keys to ensure you are typing in the numbers or check the num-lock key on your number keypad.

Some LexisNexis IDs and passwords are case sensitive. Confirm that you typed your ID and password in lowercase, and verify that the Caps Lock key on your keyboard is not enabled. Close and relaunch your browser, reconnect to the Internet, and try connecting with the LexisNexis at lexis.com site directly. In the rare event of a technical error affecting our downloads, you can still access the documents. When clicking a 'Download' button, a message box should appear asking "Do you want to open or save this file?". Instead of clicking 'Open', select the 'Save' button and save the download appropriately on your computer. The file will open from there. You can be assured that these files are clean and are fine to save to your hard drive.

Error messages like 'Error in pixel box server' or similar can nearly always be cleared by closing your browser and then relaunching it. If this does not clear the fault, please contact our support desk.
