This was a feature added in Notes 4.5 to enable servers to provide a single person/group directory for multiple Notes domains. However, it is a common mistake to put the standard names.nsf file in the Master Address Book field of the server document. The result is the error message above. To correct this problem, either remove names.nsf from this field, or create a new database named mab.nsf from the mab.ntf template and put mab.nsf in this field.

When you install the bbs - all the directories and files you initially create have the correct file permissions. When you add a directory or alter the threads.cfg you may have neglected to set the proper permissions for the directories. The script must be able to read, write and execute from the directory. The names of directories are also case sensitive. If they name does not match the threads.cgf file 100% - the script won't find the directory.

Some customers reported a "File Read Error" message after installing and running PS1.3. The error has not been completely isolated, yet. Somehow, your database was either opened and saved to another version of Microsoft Access than the Village Collector uses, or the database has become corrupted. You need to install GhostScript to be able to read PostScript files with GIMP. GhostScript can be downloaded from http://pages.cs.wisc.edu/~ghost/. The chemical structures at ChemFinder are provided in CDX format. This format can be read by ChemDraw 4.0 or later, which was first available in November, 1996.
