There is no fixed maximum, however due to the possibility of line failure we would not recommend that you send more than 500,000 names and addresses in any one transmission. If you have more data than this, we would suggest that you break it up into chunks of 500,000 (around 50MB) or less. There’s nothing to stop you simultaneously uploading several files at once from several servers.

The server has a hard limit of 5MB for sending mail, but they are not made to handle large emails. If messages get over 1 MB in size, you may start to have problems in sending.

Changing the file is simple. Return to DataShop homepage. Select view your saved datafiles. Click on the filename to display the original request criteria, which you may then edit and update.

However, care should be taken to ensure the recipient of your attachments is capable of receiving your attachments. If you intend on sending multiple large files, consider sending one e-mail message per file. If your files exceed 5mb, consider uploading the file to your personal web space and then simply e-mail a link to it to your recipient.

We do not limit email attachment sizes but many other mail servers do. Generally you should keep email attachments under 2 megs in size. If you frequently need to send or receive large attachements then you may want to consider setting an FTP site. Lanlogic agressively opposes spam and limits any single email message to no more than 100 receipients.
