Lucasfilm released the classic trilogy DVDs on September 21, 2004. Your prayers have been answered. On September 12, 2006, the classic trilogy movies will be sold individually as DVD's. You will not be required to buy all three classic Star Wars films. Each will be individually priced.

The first three seasons of half-hour episodes and the sixth of 45-minute episodes have yet to come out on DVD. Parts of Seasons 2 and 3 will be released as The Best Of The Early Years on October 24, 2006. There's no release date for Seasons 1 and 6 or the remainder of Seasons 2 and 3, but Shout! Factory has promised to release all of the episodes on DVD.

Actually, Star Wars can be played pretty well with an arcade joystick or the Tron stick. But for the authentic feel, you need a flight yoke. The original ones are frequently available on E-bay (search for yoke). They usually go for $75-$100, although I saw a Road Riot 4WD yoke, which is similar (only single-axis, though), go for $8 on E-bay recently. However, they are often pretty beat up, or missing buttons, triggers, stops, gears, etc.

Yes, the new release of classic trilogy DVD's will contain the original versions of the Star Wars films as extra footage on the bonus materials disc.

Of the 100 or so garages in the UK selling 4 star leaded, some 25 of them are now selling TetraBOOST leaded which has been splash-blended on site. A number of petrol retailers who had to give up stocking leaded fuel due to patchy and irregular sales are now making 4 star on site using TetraBOOST lead additive. Unfortunately leaded stations are few and far between and although you may be able to start your journey, you may struggle to get back home again.

According to sources, the DVDs will feature interviews with the cast and crew, a "Making of" documentary, behind the scenes footage, and possibly out-takes. Also included will be the original 36-minute documentary that Jackson used to persuade New Line to invest in the film trilogy, which includes design sketches, CGI tests, location models, creature concept art, and test shots of Helm's Deep battles. It is likely that theatrical trailers and other standard DVD extras will be included as well.

On the soundtrack CD set from that series was a song called ???My Woman??? which was recorded in 1932 by Lew Stone and The Monseigneur Band. The trumpet riff I sampled was played by Nat Gonella. I would recommend *anyone* who likes pop muisc to search out 20s and 30s compilations. It was all downhill from there! And that’s all it is!
