We highly recommend getting diapers on your baby within one week from the time you get them home. They probably have already been in diapers with us before you take them home (we don' like getting peed on either!). You will start off with an infant cover (lined with mini-pad), and by 6-8 weeks they will be in regular monkey diapers. Clothing is an option that will change your monkey's personality. The best and most well behaved primates we have ever seen have all been clothed.

You can go out wearing your diaper under your clothes or even while wearing "childish" clothes. However, wearing anything to obviously baby-looking is not recommended. If in doubt, ask your nanny about what clothes you may wear outside the nursery.

Diaper rash ointments cause diapers to repel and not function properly. If you mistakenly get diaper rash ointment on your diaper, wash your diapers normally and then apply some dishwashing liquid, like Dawn, to the affected area. Scrub the affected area with a toothbrush or other bristle brush. While this is a suggested method, it may not always work. Diapers affected by diaper rash ointments are not covered by our warranty.

Colic, gas and reflux usually become evident in babies from as early as two weeks of age.
