In the Windows Desktop mode, Click START, then mouse to "Settings", then click CONTROL PANEL, then click DISPLAY, then click SCREEN SAVERS, then make the Selection (None).

If the synergy server is on X Windows then the screen saver will not start while the mouse is on a client screen. This is a consequence of how X Windows, synergy and xscreensaver work.

TNM sometimes crashes when certain screen savers start. If this happens, discontinue your screen saver when running TNM.

A screen saver is a program that displays an image or animation on your screen when your PC is idle. Right-click on your desktop (but not on an icon) and choose "Properties" from the menu. In the Display window that appears, click the Screen Saver tab. Choose "(NONE)" from the list of screen savers that you see, and click OK. You may have turned off the sound for your screen saver. Right click on the desktop, go to "Properties" and click the "Screen Saver" tab. Once there, click the "Settings..." button. Change the sound to "always" or "once". If this doesn't work you may have a problem with your system and should contact Microsoft or the manufacturer.

In another of a long line of Design Decisions I Regret, xv tries to do all sorts of clever things with regard to the image window's position on screen. For example, if you issue the Max Size command, xv will position the window so that the window's contents exactly fill the screen (and the titlebar, frame, etc. are off the edges). Clever when it works, a big pain in the ass when it doesn't.

Marine Aquarium is an aquarium simulation program. It can be assigned as a screen saver, but it was primarily designed to emulate the elegance and serenity of watching an aquarium.

The molecule drawn is the current atomic configuration ("fold") of the protein being simulated on your computer and the graph on the bottom shows the potential energy in femtosecond increments. We display the protein in a variety of visualization styles and orientations both to get a better look at the protein fold as well as simple aesthetics.
