Stop the MediaMVP services. Click on Start, Programs (or All Programs), Hauppauge MediaMVP, and then Stop. Locate the My Computer icon on your desktop or in your Start menu. Right mouse button click on the My Computer icon and select Manage from the drop down menu. Click on the “+” sign next to the Services and Applications listing and then click on the Services sublisting. You can access your network files from any network-connected PC on campus. Simply log in to the computer with your own User ID and password. One major benefit to storing your files on your T: drive space is that those files are available to you off-campus. Assuming you are running Call Accounting Mate on port 80 on a machine with the IP address of 192.168.1.1, all you have to do is to use a PC on the LAN and point the browser to http://192.168/.1.1. The disk must be positionned to "master" mode in PVR-800, so in theory, your disk should be the first disk of the second IDE cable in your PC. If your rack is mounted in your PC, it must be connected at the end of the IDE cable if you let it to master mode. It is not recommended. The recorder's file-management software may not be able to find a renamed file. Ideally, files should be renamed prior to syncing with the recorder. Use the computer's file browsing program (My Computer or Windows Explorer on Windows systems) to rename the source music file before adding it to the Windows Media Player Library.
