Another possibility, if you're handy in a darkroom, is to tape strips of 35mm film to 120 paper backing and wind it onto 120 spools. This would add the advantages of not wasting film by winding too far, you don't have to shoot as many pictures to finish the roll (you would get 12 or 16, just like 120 film) and you don't have to count the clicks.

If you scan a photo that is 3" x 3" and place it in your file at actual size (3" x 3") then you should scan at 200 - 300 dpi. If you are placing the 3" x 3" photo into a file that will be enlarged to 6" x 6", this is a 200% enlargement, so you should scan at 600 dpi. Any scans that are scanned above the recommended dpi will waste space and time. Any scans that are scanned to a lower than recommended dpi could result in unsightly pixelation and a degraded image quality.

If your scanner only allows settings in Dots Per Inch (DPI), the resulting image size in pixels (a.k.a. dots) will be the size of the image in inches times the DPI. For example, an 8 by 10 inch photo scanned at 150 DPI would yield a 1,200 by 1,500 pixel image. That same image scanned at 1,200 DPI would yield a 9,600 by 12,000, which is larger than StillMotion Creator can handle.

The most common way for people to put music on web sites is to use the program Flash from Macromedia. MRI is most powerful when obtained with an endorectal coil. This coil is placed in the rectum at the start of the exam. The coil is placed rectally because it provides the greatest amount of signal when placed near the gland. This increased signal from the endorectal coil helps to provide excellent resolution (image quality). The total exam time is about 40 minutes. By default, we scan pictures at 72 dpi since this setting seems to produce images of high quality without making the size of the files overly large. Please not that if you order your photos to be outputed to CD-ROM then 200 dpi scans are going to be included free of charge. If you want to scan your pictures at a higher dpi setting, please contact us and we will try to accomadate you.

Each file can be up to 4 MB. You should, however, optimize files to be as small as possible--4 MB is quite large to download, especially on a dial-up connection.

While Internet speeds are faster then ever, not everyone is at the top speed. Many people will still be viewing your site on 56K speeds and maybe DSL speeds. They won't want to wait for an 8 mb file to download. In addition, the files do not need to be that large online. If the file is larger than 8 mb, the file needs to be optimized for the Web.
