The South Bayside System Authority (SBSA) is upgrading its recycled water treatment facility to provide recycled water for the City of Redwood City’s Recycled Water Project. Tertiary treated recycled water from the SBSA Treatment Plant will be distributed for use by Redwood City businesses and Home Owners Associations that voluntarily choose to use recycled water for landscape irrigation. The distribution system is still in the design stage.

The Community Development Department has a regular schedule of when inspections are required and will provide a list when you receive your building permit. You are responsible for notifying the Community Development Department at least 24 hours before you need an inspection. Mandatory inspections include footing, foundations, concrete sidewalks, driveways, curb & gutter replacements, structural framing, lath and/or gypsum board, and final inspection.
