No. All scores have been automatically checked for mathematical errors and all papers with borderline scores have been re-graded and double-checked for any mathematical errors before grades were released. For this reason, the Board will not grant any requests for re-grading. No exceptions are made to this policy. Do not call or write the Board requesting a re-grade of your exam papers. All such requests will be automatically denied.

Your exam will be read by at least two faculty members. Each of the two evaluators will assign one of the following grades to your essay:F for "Fail," P for "Pass," or P+ for "Pass Plus" (see Question 8, below). If the two readers agree in their grading, your essay will not need any more evaluation. If both readers give your essay a grade of F, you fail the exam. Answer: The exam is officially graded by GMAC. Total GMAT® scores range from 200 to 800. Two-thirds of test takers score between 400 and 600. The multiple-choice portions of the exam (Verbal, Quantitative, and Total scores) are calculated by the computer software. The Verbal and Quantitative scaled scores range from 0 to 60. The Verbal and Quantitative scores are mutually independent.

No! There are no past papers available. Self-assessment questions are included in the ABPI syllabus/learning manual to enable candidates to evaluate their own progress. Anyone claiming to have a previous exam paper is incorrect! No, they do not! Training providers may produce their own versions of ABPI exam papers, and they may be very similar to the actual exam papers, but they are not ‘genuine’ past exam papers.

We have an extensive question bank and the ABPI Exam Registrar produces the papers by drawing on random selections of questions. The exam papers are compiled for printing about four weeks before the exam.

Sample exam papers are not available for general use, however, you will receive an exam pack on the Foundation Exam courses, which includes two Foundation exams to practice with. When you register for the Practitioner exam we will provide you with a study pack, which contains some sample exam questions and exam hits. The four-hour final exam is a written test of both the qualitative and quantitative aspects of the program. There are no multiple-choice or true-or-false questions. Each class is graded independently and the passing grade varies from class to class.

Each of the three exams will be 10%, the invertebrate report will be 5%, and participation will be 5%. Participation points are at the discretion of the instructor.
