Commit members are allowed to freeze* their membership up to 2 months in a calendar year, depending on the fitness club. You will not be billed for your freeze period. Your commit membership will be extended by the time frozen. Members may request to freeze their membership up to the 18th of the month to be frozen for the upcoming month. Any requests after the 18th will not take effect until the end of the following month. You can email your request to memberservices@globalfit.

At present, the system does not allow freezing gold membership. However you can cancel the gold membership by going to "Other membership services" under "My membership" item.

You'll have to do your own experimenting to come up with the proper time and temps depending on the size cut for the potato. Typically you'll need to blanch for about 5 minutes at 350 degrees F or so. The internal temp of the center section of the fry has to reach 160 degrees F to slow the enzyme reaction that turns a raw potato black when frozen.
