Absolutely not. If you received carpet floor mats with your vehicle these mats will not be the same. First, these mats are at least twice the weight of your factory mats and generally thicker as well. In addition, although custom floor mats are designed for your particular vehicle, they are being made by private companies that do not necessarily make the pattern exactly the way the factory decided to make it.

We add grommets if they were part of the original OEM mat....there are a few exceptions such as BMW's, C6 Corvette, etc. that are exclusive to the vehicle maker and can only be purchased through a dealer. In the cases where we can't get the correct grommets, we do not put the grommets in the mats. You really won't see anything as the ones we can't produce are more of the flat snap type so the mat just lays over them.

On most mats, you can order embroidery, heel pads and/or grommets. Floor Mat Guys' provides embroidery services on any two-piece driver and/or passenger floor mats.

Floor Mat Guys' floor mats will provide years of satisfaction with proper care. Clean the floor mats regularly by vacuuming them. Our mats can be washed with mild soap and water and hung out to dry to produce wonderful results. Do not wash the floor mats in a washing machine, it may damage the machine.

Weathertech Rubber Floormats are made from heavy virgin rubber and will not shift around due to both a good fit and to the weight of these heavy duty floor mats. Husky Liners floor liners are custom made for each vehicle and will not move around due to a perfect. In addition to the perfect fit, Husky Liners benefit from Sta-Put Nibs on the underside of the mat, which prevent movement.

Lloyd Floor Mats are finished with an attractive and durable color coordinated nylon velour edging. There's no yarn to unravel and no vinyl edging to detract from the floor mats appearance.

Avery's custom floor mats are made to order and not pulled from stock. Standard orders will usually ship within 2-4 business days. Please allow an extra 2-3 days for embroidery orders.

We do not recommend the use of rubber- or latex-backed mats because the chemical (antioxidant) used to keep the backing from becoming brittle can permanently stain your floor. We suggest a nonstaining vinyl-backed mat or a woven rug that is colorfast. Most of these products are identified "colorfast" by the manufacturer.

With Lloyd's mats the strands of yarn are jammed right next to each other. You can barely dig your fingers down through the yarn to the bottom of the mat. This is called heavy yarn density. It's this heavy density of nylon yarn that accounts for Lloyd's exceptionally long wearing auto floor mats.

Custom-made automotive floor mats are made to the exact specifications of a particular year, make, model and sub-model of a vehicle. This means that if you are looking for a BMW floor mat for your 3 Series, this floor mat will fit the 3 Series perfectly, but will not fit the 5 Series. While semi-custom floor mats are not made specifically for each vehicle, they are not a "One Size Fits All" mat. Carpet floor mats and rubber floor mats serve two different purposes. Both auto floor mats will protect your vehicle floor, but if you are looking for more serious protection from mud and snow rubber floor mats are the way to go. Rubber floor mats and floor liners cannot be embroidered and the color choices are limited to Black, Tan, and Gray (except Catch-All). Carpet floor mats serve two functions.

When you click a print's thumbnail on the preview page the recommended mats appear onscreen, in single, double, and triple combinations, next to the frame selections. Some images incorporate printed borders into their designs. These prints may or may not have mats suggested with the frame options.

The mats work most efficiently with absorbent bedding such as shavings, paper, hemp etc. However, there is no reason why you could not also use bedding such as straw.
