The screen size is dictated by the room size. Normally it is the room’s height that forces a reduction in the full screen size of 18feet x 10feet, that’s around 5.5m x 3m if you prefer decimal. We would however use the largest suitable screen size for the room. See the picture below for scale.

To make your screen show more of the puzzle: Press PF11. This toggles full screen mode. Pressing PF11 again returns the screen to the prior mode. This applies anytime you are using your browser. This can happen on some video drivers if you have 'Large Fonts' selected. Here's how to double check this. In Windows 95/98 click on Start - Settings - Control Panel. Then double click on the icon that says display. A box will pop up that says 'Display Properties' click on the tab that says 'Settings.' On this screen there is an area that says 'Color Palette.' In the area that says 'font size' there is a drop down selection box. If this box says 'Large Fonts' then change it to 'Small Fonts.

Bigger is better if you watch lots of movies. Bigger is also better if you will sit far away. A 50??? screen may impress you if you sit 7 to 8 feet away. At 10 or 12 feet, the 55??? or 63??? screen sizes will impress you and your guests even more. How big is too big? HDTV programming still looks clear when you sit just a bit closer than 2x screen measurement. So on a 50-inch screen, HTDV seems big and clear when you are 7 or 8 feet away.

Try changing your screen resolution. We have found through testing that a resoluton of 800x600 (or higher) yeilds the best results. If AREIS looks too small, lower your resolution. We have had reports of the map printing poorly. We are not able to replicate this error at our office but are looking into the problem. You have the unit in closed caption text mode. If you turn off this mode, the black box should disappear.

This is due to rivafb being compiled into your kernel. The nvidia driver is not compatible with rivafb. You'll need to recompile your kernel without rivafb. The rivafb option can be found in the Console Drivers -> Frame Buffer Support section of the kernel config. Alternatively, if you can just pass the kernel the option video=rivafb:off, you won't need to recompile your kernel. Add the following line to /etc/lilo.conf, then run /sbin/lilo as root: append="video=rivafb:off"

You have to establish your remote connection outside of MI/X. Windows comes with a telnet utility that works well for this purpose. Try changing your MI/X Preferences (found by left clicking on the MI/X icon in the upper left corner) so that "Exit When All Windows Closed" is not checked.

TDFX is best viewed using 1024x768 resolution. Lower resolution settings such as 800x600 will cause the display to be too big. To change screen resolution follow these steps; Go to the Desktop Area or Screen resolution and set the indicator in the Less/More dial to at least 1024x768

We scan at 2,500ppi. Your final image size will be 1293 x 1920 pixels. The highest resolution HDTV available today is 1080 x 1920 pixels. Naturally, the quality of your final image is going to be greatly dependent on the quality of your original slide. Sometimes people think that their slides are in better shape or sharper than they really are. For our own reputation, we are going to get the images as sharp as possible. The display on your widescreen TV will depend on how you have your TV setup.

Screen resolution is usually measured in pixels, and images that are of high resolution (150 DPI or more) will always appear very large. If you are printing the logo at home on your printer, check your graphics program to see if there is an "Image Properties" dialog box or menu. If you can locate this, verify that your "Print Size" is set to the desired dimensions. For usable quality the screen resolution should not be less than 100 DPI.

This will run slower though, so it's recommended you find a VESA driver that gives you 320x240x16bit.

The oversized text is because you have set some of the Windows font size to a bigger size, currently PC Booster is not able to enlarge so the text will cover some of the buttons or get chopped off. One solution is to reduce the Windows Font size which should make the text fit into the window properly. Under Display you can select Font Size. Select "Small Fonts" (96 DPI). Click "OK". You can now read all the text in PC Booster. Issue fixed in Version 3

When I watch the movie, it’s surreal.  Hilary Swank was my first choice to play me because I knew she would do a wonderful job in her portrayal.  Her clothes and mannerisms are a lot like me in real life.  It is a little daunting though because that’s my life on the screen - all of it - but I’m extremely proud of the way it turned out.
