All of the home study courses we offer are from NCBTMB approved providers. Many of the providers are also specifically approved in Florida and other states as well. It is our understanding that all courses from NCBTMB approved providers are accepted by the AMTA. However, purchasers are urged to check with their individual local, state, and national licensing boards to determine that the provider has been approved in their jurisdiction prior to ordering.

Yes. When you complete a continuing education credit course, it will appear on your official transcript under the title Special Topics. Please keep your syllabus if you need more detailed information regarding the class for recertification purposes, etc.

Yes. The Minnesota State Board of Accountancy grants fifteen hours of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credit for each semester credit earned in the MBT program. The State of Minnesota Board of Continuing Legal Education awards Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits for MBT tax courses, but there is no standard formula.

Courses that are relevant to the category of electrician certification that is being requested to be renewed. On the application form there will be a box to check stating you acquired 2,000 hours in the industry and signing under penalty of perjury. On the application form there will be a box to check stating you acquired 32 hours of continuing education and signing under penalty of perjury.

Some Continuing and Professional Education courses may count toward a degree. Others will not. The program you want to transfer the credit into decides whether or not they will accept your Continuing and Professional Education credit. This means that while one program may accept your credit, another program may not. If this is a concern for you, it is best to check with an advisor prior to registering for courses.

The East West School is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing to offer continuing education credit for the Community Herbalist and Professional Herbalist Courses. A certified electrician may take continuing education from; a community college or public school district or public educational institution, or a state-licensed private post-secondary institution under contract with a public educational institution, community college or public school district that offers classes relevant to the certification category.

No. TDLR does not accept partial completion of a continuing education course. However, a provider may allow you to finish the course at another time; when the course is fully completed, the provider will transmit the completion record to TDLR. Yes. TDLR requires the provider to monitor licensee attendance for all courses, including computer-based and on-line courses. If a licensee does not meet the provider’s monitoring requirements, no continuing education hours will be given.

A licensee may take no more than twelve (12) hours of home study per biennium. All of our courses are home study.

Generally not, however, Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and certificates are available for many courses. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are based on the number of contact hours for a course. They are earned upon completion of the course and coursework. CEUs cannot be applied to a degree program, but they are often necessary in maintaining certification or licensure in certain careers.

Insurance professionals are eligible for 15 CE's for each of the 5 core courses and CPA's are eligible for CPE's for the number of hours spent in each class. However, the program is not designed for continuing legal education (CLE) credits.

Statements of Credit (formerly known as certificates) are mailed 2-5 working days after completion of a program, except during the university semester breaks and especially during the end of the calendar year when it may take 3-4 weeks. Federal grants and need-based grants are applied toward tuition before lottery tuition assistance. If the total amount of these grants is less than the tuition of the college, lottery tuition assistance will apply. If they cover the full cost of tuition, no lottery tuition assistance will be available.
