Number one reason: the wine region isn't necessarily the town your winery is in. Try a neighbouring area. E.g. in the Mudgee wine region, several wineries are actually in Buckaroo and Milroy. In Heathcote, your location might actually be in Tooborac. Remember it's an art, not a science getting the location right! One common problem is submitting postcodes. They aren't always necessary and can cause errors if they're wrong. Winery Addresses with RMB (Rural Mail Bag) and RSB numbers don't work.

Search by Keyword - search for "Texas", "Arrowsmith", "Geographical", etc. The search is case insensitive. View a much larger page that shows "all maps" or some other large category. As these pages are slow, the previous searches are preferable.

Putting aside whether or not it makes business sense to release the HAM map generator, there are four serious technical problems: The program utilizes several VGA hardware features for drawing the maps. More "modern" systems either do not have these features, or the OS prohibits their use.

Probably not. I've posted most all the maps that are available on the web or from WDFW. Many of these maps were made years ago by the then Dept of Game. But if I find more I will post them to the site.

The other roads shown are often in disease risk areas (DRA). Use of any vehicle (including bicycles) in DRA is illegal because they spread the destructive 'dieback' root disease by transporting spores from the soil. Some roads are not accessible for safety reasons or due to negative impact of vehicles on conservation areas. You can lock yourself in place at anytime (even when you are flying in the air) by holding down the Shift key. You can still use the left and right navigation keys to look around when you are locked. You can change the walk and turn speed at any time by right clicking on the 3DNA Systray or the 3DNA Control and selecting user options. Under the Movement section, move the slider for Walking Speed and Turning Speed all the way to minimum.

The map assignments are intended to help familiarize students with the numerous political units, physical features, and urban centers throughout the world. Since there is a map identification portion on the last two exams, the map assignments are helpful in preparing for that portion of the exam. Also, if you had trouble with some of the map assignments, it is helpful if you receive some feedback on your responses by the instructor before continuing on to the next assignment.
