Little Wing's hatches are indeed watertight. We use a rubber gasket on the deck and a rubber gasket on the bottom of the hatch to create a rubber to rubber seal. This rubber to rubber seal is far superior to a rubber to deck seal. All of our hatches use three straps to push the gaskets together to create the watertight seal.

Wing droop can occur when a front-fastening nappy is too large for a child or poorly fitting in other ways (rise too small, baby with very chubby legs), and/or the nappy is put on hastily without correctly placing the wings. The first step in the evaluation of the water quality impacts associated with the proposed opening of Midnight Pass is the determination of the baseline water quality conditions. Typically four bolts are used to mount an outboard motor to a transom. Generally, with a new engine, the manufacturer supplies the mounting hardware. The hardware is usually stainless steel machine screws of 1/2-inch diameter and threaded with the standard 1/2-13NC thread pitch. It is also seen that machine screws with finer pitch, 1/2-20NF, are used. On some engines the mounting screws may be metric fasteners of similar strength and size.
