Some RGB cameras come from the factory with the sync signal set to the green channel. The frame grabber needs to have the sync signal on channel four. Having it set to the green channel will make the color image overly green. Refer to your camera manual to see how to turn the sync on green off.

No! Many greenroofs appear red, orange, yellow and all colors in between at different times of the year because the fleshy leaves of various succulents change colors throughout the year. Also, greenroof plants are not all evergreen, nor should they be. The beauty and anticipation of the change of seasons add to the color palette. And of course, flowers vary, too, in colors from whites to yellow, pinks, deep reds and purples and blues.

You are most likely seeing classic chromatic aberration (CA), the details of which are explained in beautiful detail by Van Walree. (See also HyperPhysics or Wikipedia.) In short, chromatic aberration results from the fact that different wavelengths of light refract slightly differently when passing through your lens. This causes some wavelengths to be misfocused, have different magnification and/or get shifted laterally in your image.

No. The property can remain as it is when designated and all materials can be replaced in kind with similar materials. If the roof is asphalt shingles, you can replace it with asphalt shingles of any color. You may also replace existing vinyl or aluminum siding with a different colored siding of the same material. You only need an HDC Certificate of Approval to change the materials or alter the design.

The current green card is actually pink. An earlier version of the card was green and the name stuck. In this context, Green Card means Legal Permanent Residency of the USA.

Color depth is the number of shades (variations) of colors that can be obtained from an image. The more shades of color the scanner captures, the truer to the original any reproduction of the scanned image appears. When you scan an image, the pixel data (color depth) for each pixel is 24-bit (16 million color variations, 8-bit/color) for color, or 8-bit (256 shades) for grayscale images (black-and-white photos).

Images may be full color or black and white, it makes no difference in the pricing. You may also use full bleeds which means your image can go with color all the way to the edge. There is no need for a border.

All images must have the same and EMBEDED color profile of AdobeRGB(1998) or sRGB - greyscale, untagged or any other profile is not accepted.

While using the camera one has to capture the luminance (Y channel) only (from the provided IYUV or I420 formatted stream) - for an RGB converted stream one has to use the green channel only. Then for b&w chips all is done i.e. treat the Y or G channel as one gray scale plane. For color CCDs one has to apply a de-bayer (interpolation) to the Y (or G) plane to restore the RGB color image on the computer.

In a fixture with restricted air flow, lamps can heat up and exceed the temperature operating range for good color. Lamps should never be fully enclosed with gel or diffusion. As the temperature of a lamp increases, so does the mercury pressure in the lamp. This increased mercury pressure appears as a blue green light. The higher the temperature the bluer and greener a lamp will appear.

Color is the perception of the power spectrum that is striking our retinas. Cells called cones are responsible for our perception of color. There are three distinct types of cones and each type covers a different region of the spectrum. The cones are typically labeled as red, green, and blue, which gives the incorrect impression that each responds to a distinct frequency. In fact, there is significant overlap between them, especially in the case of red and green.

True color images, as defined in the industry today, are images for which each pixel is described by three bytes - one byte each for Red, Green and Blue. This gives each pixel the capability of being one of 16+ million colors. In general this is the most accurate method of storing color images today. JPEG, PNG, TIFF and Targa are some of the popular 24-bit image formats.

You can't normally combine two images that have different LUTs, but if you check "Keep LUT" when you open the second image (which must be stored as a PICT file) its pixel values will be remapped to conform to the LUT of the first image. You will then be able to successfully Copy and Paste, since both images have the same LUT.

This is not as hard as it seems. If the image needs more color, do not change the original inkjet printer settings, just place the same piece of transfer paper with image in the correct orientation and run through again. By doing this the overlapping of colors will make the image's colors more vibrant.

CMYK; absolutely. All Summa printers print process color in CMY or CMYK mode. (For spot colors, color mode is irrelevant) Therefore, when creating bitmap images, you'll get better color accuracy. And when creating vector fills, you'll frequently reduce the number of process colors required to build the color, and with it the screened appearance at closer distances.

Yes. The image shown in the Color Converge window is already corrected so the colors have been adjusted to look best on your printer, not your monitor. To view the image without correction, select the View Corrected and Uncorrected Images option in the View menu.

The edges of the image may be discolored if the document you are scanning is very thick or warped at the edges. Try covering the edges of the document with opaque paper to block outside light. It could also be that the document extends beyond the limits of the document table. In this case, you would need to change the position of the document.

Due to inherent device limitations, scanners and printers can only handle a limited range of colors. This range is referred to as the device's color gamut. Each scanner and each printer has a different gamut. The scanner gamut implies there are some colors that a scanner can not distinguish even though they look different to the human eye. Similarly, there are some colors which simply can not be produced with the available combinations of cyan, yellow, magenta, and black inks used in a printer.
