In April 2007 The Edge confirms that the band is working on new songs, he says that the band is "getting lost in music": We are working on a lot of material at the moment, but I have to say, it's without any particular ambition, without having to think about where it's going to go, and we're really enjoying that. It's very liberating. We're making music just for the sake of making it, and some wonderful things are happening as a result.

We of course will look and are looking across at hip-hop and see the amazing innovation in the studio... Apparently so, yes. It wasn't the whole album, but a CD with some of the songs that would be on the new album. It happened in July, 2004, while U2 was doing a photo shoot in France. Police were called in to investigate and interview people who may have seen what happened. It was never determined whether the CD was lost or stolen. Though some have suggested it was all a publicity stunt, U2 could be accused of fraud for getting police involved in an investigation of a fake crime.

They're working on songs, but from what I gathered they are not going to put anything out until 1992. I think they want to get into different types of music, and if they make a new album now there wouldn't be a big enough difference from what they've done in the jpast and what they want to do in the future. In the past, Delirious? have typically released a new studio album every two years. The band usually spend most of a year recording an album, followed by a year touring the album. In between studio albums, the band have released various live albums and compilation albums. Having already released three live albums, it is unlikely that they will release another one in the near future. Singles are generally released to help promote an album.

Our previous album Absurd Pop Song Romance was our least-selling album; we still believe it's one of our best, but it came out at a time when punk & "alternative" stuff fell out of favor, a time when rap metal (the worst music ever!) and manufactured pop (Britney, Backstreet Boys, NSync) dominated the scene. As the pendulum swings (as it always does), there was less attention paid to our kind of music. So we retrenched and reassessed our situation.

It wasn’t originally the bands idea, it was Columbia. The original album was made for only ??4000 out of the bands own pockets at a tiny studio in Birmingham, and the remix is how it would have sounded had they had more time, money and better production. What you hear on the new version is how the band originally envisioned the sound anyway. The new album still has the interludes, they are just on the end of the tracks instead of tracks of their own. The obscure intro was taken off though.

During the summer of 2006 U2 did some work in southern France, and in september 2006 U2 started recording sessions in the worldfamous Abbey Road studios in London. U2 won't be able to record at Hanover Quay studios (where most recent albums were recorded) because it will be demolished. A new studio will be built, but construction on the new studio hasn't started yet.

I really like Tiger Tiger, also. Seven and the Ragged Tiger may not have had the good songs as the previous two, but I really like the sounds/atmosphere of DD during this era (album + bsides).

Madonna has worked with several hot producers - Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Danja and Pharrell Williams - on a hiphop inspired album, titled Hard Candy. Her publicist confirmed April 29th as release date. This album will be the last studio album to be released under her contract with Warner Brothers Records, followed by a compilation album (expected for late 2008/early 2009).

There is much work still to do before I go back into the studio to record my debut solo album. The work will, once again, begin after THE PIRATE QUEEN officially opens on Broadway. Then, of course, there will be the actual recording of the songs, post-production, artwork/design, etc. No one wants this album released sooner than I, but be patient. A release date for Enya's new album has been scheduled for November 21 (November 22 in the U.S.), and the new single, which originally was supposed to be released November 14, has been changed to December 5 (December 6 and later in some countries). The new album is called Amarantine, which is also the name of the first single.
