SyncNotes is designed to avail important snippets of information to you anywhere and anytime. SyncNotes is not targeted at storing of large, rich content. Yes, you can format rich text in a number of different ways, similar to what you would expect in a professional text editor such as Microsoft Word. You can set alignment, font characteristics, colors, styles, word-wrapping options, width scaling, font spacing, auto-sizing, display angles and much more.

With the current Flex 1.5 component set, there is no Rich Text Editor unfortunately. There are some limitations in the current Flash Player that make such an editor difficult though there are implementations out there people have used. There is no direct support for printing rich text in the .NET Framework. To print it, you can use interop with the SendMessage API and these three messages to do your printing. EM_SETTARGETDEVICE : specify the target device EM_FORMATRANGE : format part... If you visit the selection a character at the time, you can get the current FontStyle and modify it directly to add or remove a style like Bold or Italic. Doing it a character at a time will avoid losing the other styles that are set.

In your word processing program, when you go to "Save As" (not just SAVE), you will see a window pop up, and look for the window that says "save as type".
