The broad standard for JPEG files is the original JFIF standard. Easy Morph supports this standard. However, some companies have, for their own reasons, decided to create variants of standard JPEG, despite the fact that doing this severely inconveniences users of their products.

Easy Morph is a very high quality morphing and warping application that has a simplified set of controls; it is specifically designed to be easy to use. Easy Morph is not a plug-in, it is a stand-alone application. Easy Morph does not require any other application to work.

Easy Morph is designed to do "classic" morphing and warping. The Morph application, part of our flagship WinImages suite, is able to do this, and adds motion morphing and layered morphing. This problem primarily occurs for users of PhotoShop 7.0, which renders .jpg's improperly. The 7.0.1 patch corrects this problem, and can be downloaded for free from the Adobe website.

You can't. WinCue currently has no support for .cue files. If you wish to use .cue files with Winamp, try the mp3Cue plug-in instead. I don't know if it's any good, but it's supposed to read .cue files. Create a playlist in Winamp and import it into WinCue by selecting "Steal Playlist" from the "List" menu. Because of changes in how skinning works in Winamp 5 you have to switch to a classic skin in order for the WinCue window to appear.

Since our servers use Linux, the filesystem is case-sensitive. Therefore, unlike in Windows, any references to images, directories, scripts etc, must be in the same case as the actual files on the server. i.e. you can't refer to an image called abc.JPG as abc.jpg. To speed up the display of pages, many web browsers simply recall information for a website from memory, rather than checking back at the source (i.e. the server).

Again, Unix is case sensitive. Make sure that when you are calling your images and links from within your page, that the file names and links are the same case. For example, MY_PICTURE.GIF is not the same as my_picture.gif. Mother Lode Internet has the most liberal web space policy around.

There are a few reasons, but mainly because the JPEG file format is 'lossy', that is to say that the figure quality will be reduced each time the file is opened/manipulated. Also, JPEG file size can be prohibitive.

A standard low-density Amiga floppy disk has a capacity of 880 KB. Since transdisk copies the entire disk structure, it copies all 880 KB, or 901120 bytes, regardless of whether the disk is full or not. The (inferior :-) standard low-density PC floppy only holds 720 KB and you probably need to transfer at least Kickstart and Workbench using this method, so you have a few choices. You can compress them using a programme for which you have copies for both machines, e.g.

The Windows versions are able to load images in the JPEG format. In order to do this, you must download the "MovingPicture Jpeg Driver" file from the downloads section of our Web site. When you run it, it will extract itself into your default Windows directory. You can use JPEG images on Mac-based systems by turning on the MacOS "File Translation" option in the "File Exchange" Control Panel item in MacOS 8.5 to 9.2.

PhotoThumb includes full IPTC editing capabilities for JPEG files, without loss of quality (i.e. no image recompression).

It is possible to encode to MPEG using the picture on a frame per frame basis by giving them continuous file names (ex. 001.jpg 002.jpg 003.jpg) and referring to them as source files.

The JPEG file size depends on the quality parameter which can vary from 1 to 100. The value 100 gives the best quality (the same as the original image had) but the biggest file size and conversely for 1. The default value used by the editor is 80, but you may control thise value. The DrawCanvas applet supports the parameter jpeg_quality. Example: <param name="jpeg_quality" value="50">

There are many programs available that can perform this file format conversion. You can search online for programs to do this, or some computers have either Windows Picture and Fax Viewer (on Microsoft Windows operating systems) or Preview (on Macintosh OS X) pre-installed. Open the photo in either application, and re-save the photo in the "JPEG" file format.

This happens on Sun machines running Solaris 2.x, and it's due to a simple compilation problem. On said machines, I recommend turning on the -DSVR4 option in the top-level Makefile. A fine idea. The problem comes in when you link against the BSD compatibility libraries, either explicitly ('-lbsd', or something like that), or accidentally (by using '/usr/ucb/cc'). These libraries are incompatible with -DSVR4 option, and should not be used.

The most common reason why a load flow fails to converge is an error in entering loads or entering lines or conductor information. Basically, if you try to push too much load through too small a conductor, the voltage drops too far (i.e. below 50% of normal) and the load flow cannot converge. A symptom of this is if you can successfully run a load flow with a load scaling factor of .5 or .2 and that when you do so, the voltages at the ends of your feeders are relatively low.

When trying to do a search using the Search by Form and the form doesn't load up after clicking on the toolbar button, it means that Office 2000 wasn't installed properly. Uninstall Office 2000 and reinstall it. Make sure that a complete install of all of Access components is made. Open a new Access database, got to Tools/Options. The Options form appears. In the Show section of the View tab, uncheck Windows in Taskbar. Click OK to apply, and close the Options form. Close the database.

All images that are loaded into the web ordering software must be .jpg file type. The system will not load .tif, .psd (layered) or RAW format files.
