Turbo Adapter uses DataFlash memory cards in MMC package. Atmel, the producer of these cards, currently offer them in 2, 4 and 8MB sizes. We have chosen these cards because Turbo applications need a file system that supports many small files and standard MMC card file systems do not fit this criterion. Other reasons were: no license fees, no royalty fees and open documentation. There are plans for standard MMC cards to be supported in the future.

Galileo models GPS-100, GPS-200 uses standard type II Compact Flash (CF) Memory Cards. Memory cards come in 16, 32, 64 MB and higher configurations (All Galileo models have a 512mb memory card limit). The addition of a memory card to the unit allows data to be uploaded/downloaded to/from the Whistler Map program. Memory cards can be added to the Galileo GPS receivers through the battery compartment.

The product does not currently support Macintosh operating systems, but we continue to evaluate the demand for Macintosh support. A. The CycloDS Evolution uses a microSD (also known as Transflash) card which is the popular memory card used in modern cell phones. The CycloDS Evolution also supports micrSDHC which allows up to 32GB (at time of writing) in your card! I have personally tested it up to 4GB with no issues (including slowdowns).

A 1-minute video consumes about 1 megabyte of memory. Most cellular phones today arrive with no more than 32 megabytes of main memory and this memory is used to hold the basic phone OS and critical applications. Therefore, unless you use a memory card you will not have a lot of space for your beloved videos. The good news is that most mobile phones that ship today arrive with an additional memory card with at least 64 megabytes of memory.

GB, although many people have reported using 4GB succesfully - please let us know if you have. Windows XP will not let you format a 4GB card in FAT format (it forces FAT32, which the SuperCard cannot read), so you need to know what you are doing to get 4GB working.

Your Mustek camera can use either an MMC (Multi Media Card) or SD (Secure Digital). The largest size card you can use is 512MB. Please note that in order to use SD cards with your camera, you will need to make sure that the card is "unlocked" and that your antivirus software in your computer is disabled. If the computer already has a network adapter installed, it is best to use it rather than go through the time and expense of installing another network interface.

It is advised for use of all memory cards to not remove them from devices while data is being processed, in other words; power off the host device prior to removing the memory card. Since flash memory is sensitive to power loss, it is recommended that you remove the memory card in devices that are low on batteries. Data on the memory card cards may be corrupted by sudden power loss.

NO!! Always use an official Nintendo GameCube Memory Card. The game does not support non-licensed memory cards, so your game may not be saved correctly, and sometimes you won't be able to keep playing the game.

The SD Memory Card reserves space for copyright protection, etc. For example: When using an 8MB SD Card. The available user space is about 6.5 MB. Memory Status (Menu 6-7-2) will show the total amount of used and available apace on your Memory Card.

The amount of memory rdiff-backup uses should not depend much on the size of directories being processed. Keeping track of hard links may use up memory, so if you have, say, hundreds of thousands of files hard linked together, rdiff-backup may need tens of MB. If rdiff-backup seems to be leaking memory, it is probably because it is using an early version of librsync. librsync 0.9.5 leaks lots of memory. Later versions should not leak and are available from the librsync homepage.

You have to take into account that everything your app does in one session, will be done for *every* running session. That is, you have to be careful about components that use a lot of memory by design. ClientDataSets, IWImages etc. are examples for such classes. The other possible reason might be a memory leak. We try to keep IntraWeb memory leak free. To be sure that your own code is leak-free, you might use one of the available memory test tools. There are even some free tools:

intraVnews relies on the memory management functionality of the Microsoft .Net Framework. The more memory you have in your PC, the more intraVnews will initially use. Memory is cheap, and Nici uses it to provide a number of convenience features and speedy access to all pictures that have been downloaded.
