Why does this program replace so much grain?
NATURLAL GLO has more energy per pound than grains and can improve the digestibility of the other components of the ration. Additional energy can also be provided by increasing the forage content of the ration. FORAGE FIRST programs are balanced for calcium and phosphorus. Our competitors try to make an issue of the Ca/P ratio because NATURAL GLO has more phosphorus than calcium. But, all cereal grains, including oats, corn, barley, wheat etc. have more phosphorus than calcium.
