Yes. If your car has a roll cage the delete kit can be notched out to accommodate most roll bars. If the roll cage connects to the rear passenger floor area, the front half of the delete kit will not have to be modified. If the roll cage connects to the metal beam that the rear seat used to sit on, the front half of the kit will need to be notched out as well as the back.

The ½” rear seat delete kit weighs approximately 50 lbs (about the same as your rear seat.) The ¼” delete kit weighs approximately 35 lbs. The weight of these kits is over the rear axle where many customers want weight for added traction.

The time it takes for a delete kit to be shipped varies. Every kit is made to order. We attempted to ship the basic kits within 2-3 weeks from the time it is ordered. Though there appears to be no evidence that this is unsafe, at least one company, Evenflo, used to recommend that you do NOT install many of their carseat models in front of a fold-down armrest. Ford has a similar recommendation for some of its vehicles. Please consult the owner's manual of your vehicle and carseat before making this decision.

A.The ½” kit is recommended if your Mustang is considered a daily driver. The ½” kit provides more strength and rigidity especially if items are going to be placed on top of the kit. The ¼” kit is recommended if your car is predominately a race car and weight is a concern.

We highly recommend that you install a roll bar or roll cage before installing harnesses. Although this is not required for Solo II rules, it is for Solo I. 5-point harnesses will lock your body in an upright position making your head the tallest thing in the car. In a roll over accident, the harnesses do not allow you to move and if the roof collapses, you could be killed.

Yes! But it takes a little doing. The 2609 Clear View Kit is the one to consider. The grids are spaced 1.25in apart on the kit for 13in total height. The Miata has about a 10x29in rear window so at first blush the 2609 is to tall and does not meet the 40in minimum. Many owners have cut the heating element paper and side bus bars to allow closer spacing. The shorter length will make the grid run a little hotter.

Autopower U-weld Cage Kits are designed to add on to an existing Autopower roll bar. U-weld Cage Kits do not come with the roll bar. Please order separately.

This depends on the state you live in. Generally, we like to recommend a rear-facing infant seat until 12-15 months of age, and then a rear-facing seat until 3 or 4 years of age, depending on your child's height and weight. After that, you can move to a front-facing seat or a booster until at least 7 years of age. Check your state's seatbelt laws here for more detailed information.

For front-facing child seats, or if you don't have a passenger-side airbag: you can if you want, but as always, the safest place by far is in the back. For rear-facing child seats, and if your car has a passenger-side airbag: the one-word answer is "No" (the two-word answer is "Definitely Not"). The reason for this is that an airbag can suddenly push the child seat up and back with a lot of force, which will likely throw the baby from the seat and cause injury.

No. The Rear Window system is designed so that the captions are visible (via reflectors) from any seat in the theater. The reflectors are completely portable and designed to attach to any theater seat. However, depending on the size or layout of the theater and the location of the caption display, some seats may offer better viewing angles than others. Seats in the middle of the theater will generally offer the best view of Rear Window captions.

The carpet used on the kits provides a close match to factory carpet. Carpet color may not always be an exact match due to manufacturing variations, fading of your carpet, etc. When you order your kit, you will be asked to provide the year of your mustang and general color (i.e. red, black, blue, medium grey, smoke.) Using this information, we match the carpet used on the kits as closely as possible to your carpet. Replacement carpets are also available for the interior of your Mustang.

Some Touaregs come with cup holders for the rear seats, and some do not. At first, it seemed that only V8 Touaregs included these cup holders, but recent reports indicate that some V6 models do included them as well. Touareg owners who did not get the cup holders have reported that they have been able to obtain them and have a dealer install them. We suspect that there was a cost associated with this upgrade.

Because Autopower knows you have to weld onto the roll bar, why waste time and money to paint the bar and then make you sand it all off. However, occasionally Autopower will send you a painted roll bar with the U-weld Cage Kit because they just happened to have the roll bar in stock. They figure that you would rather have the whole order sooner and sand some paint compared to waiting for them to build another unpainted roll bar.

The answer to this question is usually found in your rule book. All street roll bars are made with ERW. Most race roll bars and cages are made with ERW tubing unless specified otherwise.

Please consult the owner's manual of your carseat. For most carseats, this is not a problem and may actually improve safety. At least one carseat, the Century Smart Move, does require the seat to be able to rotate freely toward the back of the vehicle in a crash. Best practice from the NHTSA training manual states, "A rear-facing seat can be installed so it rests against the back of the vehicle seat ahead if not counter to manufacturers instructions...

If detailed measurements are taken as well as clear photographs of the roll cage and its connection points, K Dezines will be able to notch out the kit for you at an additional cost. Another option is to have the kit shipped to you with the corners uncovered (the carpet is glued/stapled in all other areas except the corners.) You can then notch out the kit yourself to insure proper fit. The glue is provided upon request at a small fee.

No. The car seat sunshade attaches to any car seat and does not require a canopy. It ties to the car creating a full shade for your little one. Our car seat sunshade has been crash tested for safety. The single sunshade has a wire so it will maintain its shape and coverage even on the windy days. The single sunshade can be used in the car with canopied car seats, but it has not been tested for this purpose. We have two shades the single sunshade that does require a canopy.

You can use a tether on a rear-facing seat only if the owner’s manual to your car seat manual permits it.

Rear fill" refers to the presence of depth and ambiance in music. A properly designed system using two channels will reproduce original rear fill on the source without rear high frequency drivers. Since recordings are made in two channels, that is all you will need to reproduce it. What is captured at the recording session (coincident pair mics, Blumlein mic patterns, etc.) by a two channel mic array will capture the so called rear fill or ambiance.

this time we do not make a rear exhaust kit for any of our cars, however you can use our #A870 "can" type muffler to simulate a rear exhaust. This replaces the stock side exhaust on our Nitro car kits. The #A870 muffler comes stock on the Super Nitro RS4. With T-connectors and wide silicone tubing you can make a convincing dual rear exhaust!

Car seats can be used for approximately six years after the manufacture date. Select models may be used for a longer period of time so always check your owner’s manual, call the manufacturer directly or look for an imprint or label on the actual car seat to find out when your seat is too old to use. If it has expired, discard it.

It is not illegal under NYS law for a child passenger to ride in the front seat of a vehicle that has a passenger air bag, but it is dangerous. Recent studies show that air bags can cause serious or fatal injuries to infants, children or small adults that sit in the passenger-side front seat. It is also normally safer for a child of any age to ride in the back seat of any vehicle.

This is kind of a touchy subject. It's never a good idea to use a car seat that's been ill-treated or in an accident, so you're going to want to make sure that you trust whomever you're buying it from. As with cars, child seats are almost never the same after being in a serious accident. Try to make sure you know exactly where it came from and what it's been through before you use it. A seatbelt tucked behind the arm will not be positioned properly to protect your child in a crash.
