Take the Eurobus Service ATVO shuttle to Venice, then from Venice Historic Centre take either the no. 19, 84 or 4 and get off at the third stop in via Altinia in Venice-Favaro. The apartments are just across the road from the bus stop.

From the motorway take Mestre Tangenziale (no-toll motorways) exit "Terraglio" and then follow direction to Venezia. Turn left at the 2nd traffic light (Venice - Favaro direction) and when you reach Piazza Pastrello, turn left in Via Altinia. Drive down for another 500 meters and you will find our bed and breakfast right in front of a petrol station (the journey lasts approx. 10 minutes).

Very easy. You can take bus n.19, 15, 4 or 84 from the public ACTV bus service (with line number 19, the journey lasts 15 minutes). The buses will take you as far as Piazzale Roma ? Venice bus terminal.

From Skavsta, Arlanda and Bromma airport you have bus coach straight to City Terminalen (Arlanda airport has also a fast train 20 mins), From City Terminalen you can take taxi to your B&B accomodation, or subway.

During the high season, the bus for Lido di Jesolo leaves at 6.50 am, 9.30 am and 2.30 pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The busses for Mestre, on the other hand, are very frequent. They are leaving every day, every half an hour from 8.15 am to 22.25 pm. In Mestre, you can take a bus for Lido di Jesolo. The departures are every hour.

From Leonardo Davinci airport (Fiumicino) to Rome's central station Termini the Leonardo Express train leaves the airport terminal every 30 minutes, every day, from 06.37 am to 11.37 pm. The train makes no mid-journey stops. The cost of the ride is Euro 9.80. Remember to validate your ticket before boarding the train.

A Bed and Breakfast usually has few rooms and is usually run by the owner(s). In our case our professional background is the tourism industry so after attending customers on behalf top rated hotels we decided to do it by our name, in person, while of course still enjoying some income. What you get at a B&B is a level of personal service and comfort that is generally not available at hotels (unless you go to the kind that charge thousands of dollars per night).

The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority recommends arriving two hours before a domestic departure, or three hours before an international departure (or a domestic departure connecting to an international flight at another U.S. airport), but please check directly with your airline for specific recommendations.

The bus for Lido di Jesolo leaves every hour and travels about half an hour. Taxis are also available.

This can vary. Sometimes a B&B will just require your credit card details whereas others may request a deposit. In either case it is usual then to pay the balance due upon check-out.

B&B’s have different cancellation policies. Normally, notice of cancellation should be given at least 5 days before the reservation date. Notice given after this time may incur a charge to the value of the first night’s accommodation. A first night's charge may also be levied where no cancellation has been notified and the guest fails to arrive (a "no-show."). If you need to cancel or amend, do try and notify this change as soon as possible.

Hotels are big, have services such as restaurants and bars, are less personal and are often located on major streets in the busier (and possibly noisier) areas of the city. B&Bs are general small, are personally owned and operated, are more safe and secure, and are in quieter areas of the city. They include in the rate a breakfast but are not allowed by law to serve other meals.

It does not get dark enough in the summer to see the Northern Lights. They can be seen starting in late August until March, depending on conditions...

Homestay - an owner occupied private home with one to three rooms available for guests. The business aspect of the B&B is secondary to the use of the dwelling as a private residence. Bed and Breakfast Inn or B&B - usually owner operated with four to twenty rooms available for guests. The building's primary use is for business. Breakfast is the only meal served and only to overnight guests.

There is no "curfew." You can come and go as you please, although, if you are coming in late, please enter as quietly as possible since hosts may need to rise early for work.

The B&B host or apartment owner will greet you and supply you with keys when you arrive. We request your airline, flight number, arrival airport and landing time so we can estimate when you will arrive at your accommodation and advise the B&B host or apartment owner when they must be there to greet you. If you are arriving by car, we will request your arrival time within a one-hour window (e.g., between 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM, for example).

Smoking is not allowed in the Bed and Breakfast or rooms. Smoking is allowed outside. We do not allow smoking inside as it makes it hard to get the smell out of the bedding and curtains and also the next guest may be allergic to the smell. So please no smoking in the B&B.

Baloo and Becky --- the epitome of opposites attract. Their mutual animosity develops, over time, into a deep friendship built on shared experiences and grudging respect. Despite their faults, they always come through for each other. And that's only scratching the surface of why I think they would be happy together. A true B&B is still a private home, but the rooms may be more than one would expect to find in a typical home. In the case of the Astor House, there are many amenities in the guest rooms such as whirlpool tubs and fireplaces as well as high speed internet access. Yet, the owners of the home live on site.
