We require that your images be in JPEG format. Typically, this includes files with a .jpg or .jpe extension.

If you are scanning the images yourself from photographs it is better to save them in either tif, or eps format. These image formats will preserve the color and sharpness of your pictures the best. However, we will accept jpg or jpeg if it is at least 300dpi. File formats like gif or jpg compress the pictures color and pixel resolution and may not maintain the true color of the image.

We encourage you to send .TIF files or native documents from Adobe Photoshop® (.psd). .JPEGs and .GIF files are also acceptable although there are certain limitations Please make sure your document is saved at the size you want it printed and that it has a resolution of 300 pixels per inch or greater.

Use the file format that is appropriate for the particular item to be filed. Consider how the file will be used and in what format the current data resides to determine the best format. Legal pleadings are viewed best in HTML (.htm) format or Rich Text Format (.rtf). Supporting documents/exhibits/attachments that have been scanned are best in .pdf Adobe Acrobat format. Argument files for use in court presentation are best as PowerPoint files (.ppt), HTML (.htm) or Rich Text Format (.rtf).

Partially, this format can be used. But because stereo content only contains two images, you will see a 3D image only at a few spots in front of the Tri-Vision™ display.

Gimp's native image format - XCF - is capable of saving all layers, channels, paths and active selections.

Faximum stores all received faxes in TIFF-F format. This format is compatible with most graphics and word processing packages and fax images may be included with WordPerfect, FrameMaker, and other WP documents. SWIIFT [] can optionally convert received faxes into GIF format for viewing using a Web browser.

Any file format listed above can be imported into PhotoManager. When images are being uploaded to the web, they are converted into a .JPG file and compressed to about a 26K file.

We offer TIFF and JPEG files for print use and JPEG format for use on the web, multimedia, and other uses.

Our most common request is for JPEG format, but we're more than happy to supply photos in the format of your choice.

BlueMoon Stock files are JPEG compressed. While no image degradation is noticeable after onecompression-decompression cycle, subsequent compressions will begin to soften the images. It is important, therefore, for optimal image quality, never re-save images as JPEG-compressed files. Images from BlueMoon Stock are intended to be as versatile as possible for the end user.

We can image practically all formats. We can't image the "native" formats of some of the newer programs (for example: In-Design), but we can create slides from most any photo editing software file: psd, ai, eps, pdf, pdd, tiff, jpeg, bmp, tga, and gif. Having said that, we do recommend that for the best results you don't send pure Photoshop (psd) or Illustrator (ai) files. We recommend that you save them in RGB format, as either tiffs or jpegs.

PowerPoint® works best with tif or jpg images. PICT and EPS images from a Mac brought into a PC are a definite problem!

The data is saved using SQLite and is in that binary format. If you want external access to this data, we plan to export it as an XML file similar in format to the iTunes file but this has not been implemented yet.

You may use any images that you have produced. To use any other images you must first seek permission from the copyright owner of the image. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have permission to use and publish all images.

The images folder can be used to store any images that may be associated with your customer's loan. These might be photos of the collateral or property, scanned documents, etc. To import the Image, from the Main Menu, click on Add/Change a Customer, then Import Images. After entering your account number, you will choose the location and name of the file to be imported.

SD9 and SD10 images are stored on the camera using a proprietary RAW data format called X3F. The images are stored in 12-bit format and are compressed using a lossless compression algorithm that does not degrade the image quality; images arrive on the users computer unaltered, with the best image quality possible.

Thank you for your efforts, generosity, and permission to use your images and include them in the Central Pacific Railroad Photographic History Museum! In order to be able to achieve maximum image quality we would need you to e-mail us high resolution color scans of the each image, one image per e-mail, or tell us the URL's if your contributed images are available for us to download from the Internet.

All images should be 72 dpi, and should be resized to exactly the size you wish it to display in the browser. You can, in theory, resize images in Typo3, but it will cause the image to appear pixellated. In particular, taking a smaller image and making it larger using Typo3 (or any other software) will always result in a jagged, pixellated images. Images to be placed alongside text should be no more than 350 pixels wide or tall.

Tests have shown that images can be printed at much larger sizes, depending on the image type and screen ruling used. On composite inkjet devices, customers regularly reproduce our images on posters at A0 sizes and larger. However, you need to check the technical specification of your printer and the size of image purchased before proceeding. See our technical specifications for more details.

Shorten (extension .shn) is an audio compression scheme written by Tony Robinson of SoftSound that can compact wav files without subtracting out any frequencies. It's "lossless"- everything in the original wav is there, so that full quality is maintained. For many traders of live music, Shorten files (shns) therefore have an undisputed advantage over "lossy" mp3-format files.

The download is a zipped folder (.zip) containing a folder of templates (native POT format), and 3 Backgrounds (.jpg at 72 dpi).

Images attached to text submissions must be under 1 MB. (Images used in slideshows must be less than 4 MB.)

Everything is ultimately converted into JPG by our system- so we prefer JPG/JPEG. However, you are welcome to upload TIFF's back to top

I'm trying to do CTF correction. Did I understand it right, that the aim of the sliders it to get the theoretical curve and the "data-curve" congruent? If so, to what extent should this be done? I am curently playing around with that feature and am not sure how curves should match as I did not succeed to get everything congruent
