Information regarding bedding and towels is found in the final travel documents you will receive before you holiday begins.

We happily supply all of our guests with thick, fluffy lambskin mats to sleep on. For sanitary and pest control concerns, we do not allow bedding from home to be brought in. For those pets that need "a little more" to sleep on, we do offer bed rentals for a nominal charge.

Included in the cost of your cooking holiday are: gas; electricity; heating; towels; bedding; washing machine. There is also free Email and Internet access.

For sanity purposes we ask that you do not bring your pet's own bedding or pillows. However, we do put down a raised platform called kennel decking, designed to keep the dogs up off the concrete. Every guest is provided with a superior quality Kuranda dog bed. These beds are extremely comfortable & clean, and therefore, we do not accept any additional bedding. Feel free to bring toys (no raw hide), but please don't bring your pet's very favorite things in the world - leave that at home for your pet's return. Each guest has a shoe-box size basket for personal items (including food from home), so please keep that in mind when packing for your friend's vacation with us.

Yes, the house does not provide linens. Though we do have a limited supply of towels, pillows and blankets which are reserved for people that forget their own.

Each bed is made up with fresh, clean egyptian cotton sheets, blanket, quilt and a pillow. Additionally each guest receives a set of soft 100% egyptian cotton bathroom towels for their use during their visit.

We provide appropriate bedding for all of our campers. If you prefer to bring your pet's own bedding, please be sure it is clean on arrival and clearly marked with your name. The cover and lining must be 100% machine washable and able to withstand daily washings as part of our housekeeping procedures.

We recommend the "De Luxe" or VIP category cottages for our North American clients. In these categories, bedding and towels are included. Because most people visiting Center Parcs resorts are locals, and it is easy enough for people to bring their own, the least expensive "economy" villas do not include towels and bedding. In the past, our North American clients were given complimentary towel and bedding packs, even for the old "comfort" cottages NEW FOR 2007..

Yes, you can bring your pets bedding as long as it is machine washable. If you bring a pillow and your pet starts to chew it up we will take it away from it. If your pet is used to sleeping in a crate that is fine also, if it is a small pet. If you have a medium or large dog we ask that you bring just the bottom half of the crate for the dog to lay in. Often times large dogs will jump up on top of the crate and then intimidate the dogs around it.

It is up to you. During orientation, we will arrange a time to shop for your daily needs such as bedding supplies, toiletries, etc. If you are planning to buy your bedding supplies; such as linens, pillows, etc in the United States, please email Ms. Rong Song at rsong@bw.edu and Ms. Lurline Brotherson at lbrother@bw.edu at least three days before you leave your home country, so that temporary bedding can be arranged for you.

The Hotel you will be checking in to wouldn't dream of asking you to bring your own duvet and sheets, Mornington Lodge does not require you to bring your pet's bedding! Being a hygenically controlled environment, all bedding is provided by Mornington Lodge. The favourite toy can also stay at home - we have box loads of toys available for guests to play with. Paw Prince provides all bedding for our guests. If you would like to bring bedding, please make sure the item is not fluff filled and small enough to fit in our wash machine. All bedding is washed prior to pick up. Also clearly mark the item with your pet's name in permanent marker. It’s nice to bring something that smells like home, a t-shirt or towel. Nylabones, Kongs, and favorite toys are accepted.

In a different piece of work Speake, Cahill and Thomas (2003) found the chance of getting a live louse in a pillow after whole nights sleep was about 1 chance in 1000. In other words you could sleep in the same bed for nearly three years before you got a louse on the pillow. Spraying bedding with pesticide sprays just doesn't make sense.

No Pine and Cedar should never be used as a hamster bedding. They both contain something that is harmful. The best choice is either Aspen or Carefresh.
