The Architectural Committee is comprised of volunteers appointed by the Board of Directors to review Home Improvement Applications. They must have an appropriate background in fields such as landscape design, architecture, engineering, etc., and be able to interpret blueprint drawings.

The Committee on Effective Teaching and Faculty Awards is authorized and established by the Chancellor. It has responsibility for: nominating faculty members for special teaching awards established at the University of Missouri-Rolla. The committee is expected to keep the faculty informed of its policies in consultation with the Academic Council. NCSLI Committee 176 meets officially twice a year, at the NCSLI Conference every summer and at the Measurement Science Conference every January. Additionally, we interface all year long via emails and phone calls.
