Who wrote this FAQ, and what's the author's personal bias?

Intersex Initiative: [DRAFT] DSD Controversy FAQ
This document was written by Emi Koyama, director of Intersex Initiative. My personal opinion is that "DSD" is not perfect, but an acceptable terminology to refer to the medical aspect of intersexuality, even as I continue to use "intersex" in every other way.

Bible Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
This FAQ is biased. It reflects the author's Christian beliefs, reverence for God, and a great respect for God's Holy Word, the Bible. I believe that the Holy Bible was inspired by God, who had His servants speak, write, and preserve His word. The Bible reflects the style of the many people involved, but it is from God, and should be respected as such. This FAQ is also incomplete, and may contain typos or other errors. If you have a suggestion for improving it, please email me at mpj@ebible.org.

Trail preparation is very important. First thing is first, never go alone, always have at least one other vehicle. Spare parts and tools to change them. Having spare u-joints doesn't help if you don't have anything to change them with. Be smart when packing for a trip, if your going in the middle of winter, carry at least one blanket, stuff happens be prepared. I always take spare clothes and shoes. On larger trips we take enough spare parts to build another Jeep.

Draft rec.boats.cruising FAQ
My name is David Dennis, and I'll be very up front about this: I have virtually no cruising experience, an attribute that would seem to disqualify myself completely and utterly from FAQ writing or maintenance. What I've discovered over the years, though, is that one of the best ways to learn and accumulate knowledge and eventually become an expert is to write a FAQ. And, since I'm an inverterate reader, I know quite a bit more than one might think.

What is confirmation bias?

Frequently Asked Questions
Confirmation bias refers to a type of selective thinking whereby one selects out what is familiar to them or what they expect to see, rather than what is actually there. Many errors often occur when practitioners, due to familiarity of certain products, see the one they think it is rather than what it is. It is human nature for people to associate items by certain characteristics.

Who is Stephen Greenfield (the author of this FAQ)?

Steve's Dramatica Theory FAQs
I'm Stephen Greenfield, President of Screenplay Systems, the creators of the software products you'll see at www.screenplay.com. I was the chief software architect on the earlier versions of Dramatica. I did not invent the theory (see "Dramatica History and Development " for more information on the authors and my involvement). I am a produced screenwriter, in the WGA. I am, of course, biased about the software and I have a unique financial interest in the success of Dramatica.

Why doesn't the FAQ include much personal information about anyone who is on the show?

Miscellaneous: World News Now FAQ
It's because personal information such as, say, how old Mark Mullen is (34) is just that: personal. What information WNN people want to share with the audience, they will do on the show. They have the right to choose how much that is, and this FAQ will not pry.
