In general, flashing battery indicators typically denotes a problem with the battery, or the battery is too hot. If you have FanGUI installed on your system, you can use it find out the manufacturing date of your battery. Bring up the FanGUI control window and click on "Show Sysinfo".

The LEDs will flash for 60 seconds so you can setup the light level and occupancy detection for the IT-200. If you have not completed the setup before the LEDs stop flashing, simply push the button again to continue the setup.

The push button starting system is a two part system consisting of the push button and the electrode. The button is almost fail safe, if it clicks, then it works. There is an A23 or A27 Remote Control battery in the remote transmitters. I use a special programmable current-limiting power supply, but you can just use coin cells. Two watch batteries will do in a pinch, and the LED can be tested on them without a resistor. A good choice for casual testing is to keep a pair of CR-2016 lithium coin cells handy. For a red, orange, yellow or yellow-green LED, test it with just one of these batteries. For true-green, blue-green, blue, or white LEDs, use two.
