Why can't I see other players in the game?
This is almost always because of some type of networking problem, and some of the data isn't making it back and forth between the machines. Maybe you're using a router, a firewall, or Internet Connection Sharing. Add into that the ability to AFK Mine, I'd say it can cater rather well to both Casual AND Hardcore players. Now, if you play 1-2 hours a Day, don't expect to get rank very fast or be running around with the beacon of light to soon, but you should still be able to play around with others.
