A#11.5: The only way to tell for sure what is in a library is to look at the symbol table. The most common way to do this is to get a listing by using Byte Works' makelib(1) utility, which comes with their various language packages (see the -D and -F flags). There is also a program available, listlib(1), which is a front end to makelib. It provides the same information as makelib, but in an alternate format more suited to cross referencing symbols to the files containing them.

A - The exhibit was displayed in the Maryland Room Gallery and was titled "Jim Henson's Designs and Doodles." The exhibit was produced by the University of Maryland Libraries (Rebecca Wilson was the Graphics Coordinator) in concert with The Jim Henson Legacy. The Microfilm Library has microfilmed permit information and plans that go back to 1974 for most single-family residences and some commercial projects. Most permits are microfilmed about 2 weeks after being issued. Two major types of permits are issued by DPD—land use and construction. (Electrical, side sewer, plumbing, sign, and street use permits also are issued by DPD). Projects often require both land use and construction permits, and they may be applied for separately or together.

Reference staff at Warren-Newport Public Library can help you find the item you're looking for, and they will assist you in requesting it through interlibrary loan.

Conference names are listed in UCLID as AUTHORS, but the title of the particular year's conference is listed as a TITLE. This can be confusing! If you think you have a conference name try it as an AUTHOR. If that doesn't work try it as a TITLE. If it still doesn't work pick unique words from the conference name or title and DO A KEYWORD SEARCH. If you do not find the book or conference you want in UCLID the first thing to try is OhioLINK.

Let your mouse pointer sit over your library for a moment to see how many cards are left in your library. For your opponent, go to "View" and choose "Game Status." It will tell you how many cards are left in both players' libraries.

Some tables have a little "R" beside a planet that is retrograde. To organise this would involve a lot of reformatting for such a large Ephemeris. However there is a simple way of seeing if a planet is retrograde. If you look at the columns for the Sun, you will see that the degree numbers go upwards, (except when there is a change from one zodiac sign to the next). There are three main areas to look for identifying marks. First, look for the Gerstner name to be stamped on the catches or lock. Second, look for a Gerstner name tag to be located on the face of the bottom drawer. (Sometimes the tags have come off, but there will be an outline of where a tag used to be). Finally, there will sometimes be a stamp on the inside of the bottom of the chest cavity.
