This is probably a java client issue. You will need to make sure you have the latest java plug-in updates. NOTE: A lot of XP disks do not enable or install java by default. You can connect your PENTAX digital camera to a TV to view your images individually or in a slide show through the use of a video cable (included with supported cameras). The Swann Black Knight Camera receiver comes with an AV cable which plugs into the Video and Audio connectors on your TV or VCR. You have modified the pictures or you have placed them in a folder other than the one the camera uses. If you have modified the pictures, most cameras will no longer be able to see the pictures. In the future, do not modify the pictures if you need to see them again with the camera. If you placed them in the wrong folder, put them in the folder you originally found them in. Most cameras will only use the folder they create to see the pictures.

Most cameras will only view images stored within a set folder structure, if you have saved the images to new folders then move them back to within the cameras structure and you should be able to view them.

Your camera's microphone is designed to pick up ambient sound (sound all around you). It does not do a very good job of focusing on the subject in front of the camera. It does not reduce the lateral sounds and emphasize the subject. Your camera's microphone also picks up unwanted sounds like the hum from motors in your camera and handling noise. The on camera microphone may have some usefulness in picking up ambient environments like in nature or for sound affects.

This is sadly a bug (I think). The camera does not rotate fully when sitting down, only in the XY plane, but not the Z one. You can either stand up, or use other keystrokes to move the camera when sitting down.

More than likely you've selected the incorrect signal standard on the TV-Out control panel. When using TV-Out in the United States select NTSC, otherwise select PAL.

For watching tv in linux using a tv-tuner card the most common way of getting the tv sound input is by using a short audio cable that connects on one end to the tv card and the other end to the line-in jack on a sound card. This way there is always audio data being pumped to the sound card's line-in. The most common problem is that the tv-tuner audio output is not connected correctly to the sound card input (usually line-in).
