The difference between skilled and comprehensive care is the payer source. A stay in a Skilled bed is covered by Medicare Part A after a person has had a 3 day hospital stay and has a qualifying condition that requires nursing care. A stay in a Comprehensive bed is private pay only.

The old refrigerant is commonly referred to as R-22 or Freon. The new refrigerant is called Puron by Carrier and R-410A by Trane. Puron/R-410A works exactly as R-22 does but does not contain the chlorine that supposedly can destroy our ozone layer. Any student may prepare for nursing admission through meeting the minimum requirements for admission outlined above and taking additional non-nursing courses that will provide points for the selective admission process.
