Frequently Asked Questions

Ok, then how do I play Mid-match cards from my Backlash deck?

Raw Deal FAQ: Complete
Mid-match cards can be fished out as needed and played according to their card type. For example, Dirty Low Blow is a maneuver - so you can only play it on your turn. You don't draw it: you decide whether you want to play it, then go into the Backlash deck and fish it out to play it. If you need a reversal, and it is an opponent's turn, fish it out a mid-match reversal. You play these cards like normal, but instead of drawing them, you use them as needed.
Related Questions

So if I use one of my Pre-match cards as a Mid-match card, I can still play more Mid-match cards?

Raw Deal FAQ: Complete
No, since the match has not started yet: you only look at SV first to determine who plays the first Pre-match card.
Related Questions

Can you play Sustained Damage if you reverse from your Backlash deck?

Raw Deal FAQ: Complete
No. While the card may suggest this, we are ruling that you cannot respond to an effect with two reversals. No! However, if you OVERTURN an Elbow, it will reverse it. Note that Sustained Damage only works once you decide to let a card be successful and do damage to you. You then discard to lower the damage before overturning.

What is a Backlash deck?

A Backlash deck consists of up to 12 cards that contain no more than 6 Pre-match and no more than 6 Mid-match cards. They are not part of your hand and do not count as part of your Arsenal. The deck is separate.
Related Questions

Can you play Little She Devil in a Two-Man Power Trip deck while playing in a single match?

Raw Deal FAQ: Complete
Yes. Normally, you can only play TAG cards while playing in a tag match. However, this card states it allows you to play it if your Superstar says it can only play tag team title belts. And this can happen whether in a tag match or standard one-on-one match. Same goes for cards like Stackplex and other cards with similar wording.
Related Questions

I don't understand how to play Pre-match cards. Can you explain the process?

Raw Deal FAQ: Complete
Ok, the player with the highest SV gets to play one Pre-match card of his choice first then you alternate among the next highest SV, etc. Once all have played 3 Pre-match cards or all the players consecutively passed playing a Pre-match card, you draw your starting hand and may look at it. Then you resolve the Pre-match cards played with the highest SV player resolving his first in any order.
Related Questions

Can I use a reversal from my Backlash deck to reverse Claw or Dirty Low Blow?

Raw Deal FAQ: Complete
Yes, because reversing from the Backlash deck is not the same as reversing from the hand, just like playing a card from your Backlash deck is not the same thing as playing a card from your hand.

Can Calling You Out bring out an opponent's Mid-match card?

Raw Deal FAQ: Complete
No, you can only bring out a Pre-match card. And you resolve it as if the player owning the card had played it himself. This is the Mania FAQ. If you do not have a question relating only to a Mania card or Superstar then you are in the wrong FAQ. You should also read the General FAQ first for basic and general information. With the release of Mania, you may now have up to 8 Pre-match and 8 Mid-Match cards in your Backlash deck.

Can you stop a Pre-match card being used as a Mid-match effect with Censorship Match?

Raw Deal FAQ: Complete
No, because the Touch Turnbuckle cards do not specify a Victory Condition: it's the Four Corners Match that does. So Not Done cannot trigger. No. The text on Money Talks prevents the playing of a card from your Backlash deck and not really causing the Finisher to be irreversible.

Can I mix and match graphics cards?

FAQ
In order to provide optimal symmetric scaling, SLI Technology requires the NVIDIA GPU to match. For example, a GeForce 7800 GTX must be paired with another GeForce 7800 GTX. Likewise, a GeForce 6600 GT must be paired with another GeForce 6600 GT. However, using the latest Release 80 Graphics Drivers, NVIDIA GPUs sold by different manufacturers can be used together in SLI Mode. For example, a GeForce 7800 GT from vendor ABC can be matched with a GeForce 7800 GT from vendor XYZ.
Related Questions

FAQ
No. NVIDIA currently doesn't support SLI on two different models or from different vendors. SLI supports configurations with the same model (i.e. 6800 Ultra) from the same vendor (Vendor XYZ). A common misconception about SLI is that the BIOS revision has to be identical between the cards. This is not true. A manufacturer can revise the BIOS without affecting SLI. NVIDIA does however recommend that customers confirm SLI compatibility with the manufacturer before making a purchase.
