We probably can create a large round or sheet cake for you on that short of notice. But, because of their complexity, there is a ten day minimum on placing an order for any tiered cake.

With the exception of our signature cake, The Queen Elizabeth , we do not offer fresh strawberries as a filling option. Since the wedding cake is on display during the reception, the fruit has a tendency to break down and deteriorate. This is often compounded by the fact that many reception facilities just do not have the extra refrigeration space to spare, so the cake could possibly be without benefit of refrigeration all day.

Coordinate with your florist to provide fresh flowers for your wedding cake. Please verify with your florist that the flowers have not been sprayed with any chemicals. Also, unless your flowers were specifically grown to be eaten, please remove them before serving.

Yes. At every event, one of our staff members is available to cut and serve the wedding cake. There is a small fee of $50 for this service. You are welcome to have a family member perform the duties as well. We will also wrap the cake topper for you to take at the end of the event.

We prefer that you book at least 6 months prior to the event. However, there are times when we have dates open so just give us a call or email us and we can check our schedule for availability.

Our custom cakes are three or four tiers, with the exact size based upon your final guest count. The menu package lists our custom cake flavors, fillings and designs. At your menu consultation, you will have the opportunity to review various photographs of our standard cake designs to aid you in making your selection. If you would prefer more than one flavor or filling, an additional cost will be incurred. You may choose to bring your own cake.

Ideally you would reserve your date one to three months before your wedding day. I can take your wedding cake order up to nine months in advance. I will be happy to accept last minute orders as well, scheduling permitting.

It is never too early to plan for your wedding cake. As with anything, reserving early will allow for more flexibility, and will make sure that the date of your wedding is not overbooked. Many brides reserve a year or more in advance. We also accept reservations closer to the wedding date if we have time available. A deposit of $100 will reserve our time for your wedding date.

Each reception site will cut the cake slightly differently. However, the standard dimensions for a wedding cake serving is 4"H x 2"D x 1"W. Our cakes are sized slightly bigger, and will still feed as many guests necessary if the reception site cuts them slightly larger.

If you wish your Wedding cake to be served with coffee, you would normally cut this after the main course has been cleared. If you wish the serve your Wedding cake with your evening buffet, then you would cut the cake after the speeches. I will announce the cake cutting, so that your guests can take photographs.

We wanted well-designed cream flowers, thus we were recommended to visit Maria's Bakery. They had the BEST looking detailed cream flowers we'd ever seen! The prices were great and the cake looked better than we could ever have dreamed! Of course it tasted delicious too!

We limit our work to reach the highest quality- many clients book their wedding cake about ONE YEAR before the wedding, to make sure that they can have a Jenny's Cake. We can often accommodate short-notice requests, especially If your wedding is in the winter.

Your wedding cake starts with a consultation with our cake designers. There, you will flip through our portfolio to determine the overall style or setup of the cake (stack-one tier directly on the other with no space, pillars, stand etc.). Once the setup and number of tiers have been determined it's time for the details.

Baked in 3 or 4 inch heights we offer Dark Chocolate, Very Raspberry, Exquisite White, Lite Lemon Citrus and Amaretto. If you and your fiancé can't agree on one flavour don't worry. We allow you to have different flavours for each tier at no added charge.

The size of your wedding cake will be determined by three things. The first is the number of guests at your reception. The second is the time of day that your reception is being held, and the third is other individual details such as other desserts being available (pastry table). On average we suggest budgeting $250-350 for a 3-tier cake suitable for a reception size of 120-200 guests.

Certainly. You may have a different flavor for each tier (and we don't charge extra for this). However, we do recommend that you order only two different flavors. Otherwise, your guests will want to sample all the flavors and there is a chance that you may run out of cake! Everything we do is custom made and we love it when you already have a design in mind and a picture to show us.
