The GP32 has a single processor compared to the dual-processors of the GP2X, both of which are faster than even the most overclocked GP32 by about 40Mhz. Additionally, the GP32 only had 8Mb of RAM at launch and the GP2X has 64Mb plus 64Mb NAND flash memory that can be used as storage. That's not all the storage you can use either. There's more of course but effectively the GP2X is a big leap forward from the GP32.

the moment, I don't know the answer to this question. You could overclock the GP32 somewhat, so perhaps you will be able to do the same with the GP2X. Still, the 200 MHz speeds are already faster than an overclocked GP32 by ~40 MHz.

It is quite difficult to answer this question in an objective manner.
