No. Subversion is a set of libraries. It comes with a command-line client that uses them. There are two different Subversion server processes: either svnserve, which is small standalone program similar to cvs pserver, or Apache httpd-2.0 using a special mod_dav_svn module. svnserve speaks a custom protocol, while mod_dav_svn uses WebDAV as its network protocol. Apache does not automatically send a cookie on every response, unless you have re-compiled it with the mod_usertrack module, and specifically enabled it with the CookieTracking directive. This module has been in Apache since version 1.2. This module may help track users, and uses cookies to do this. Features and performance. Features include the things that are supported by the stack and the servers. You can take a look at the features list for individual components at their web pages. Performance of servers typically has factors like throughput, turn-around time, response time, CPU and memory utilization, bandwidth usage. It is quite difficult to answer this question in an objective manner. The first challenge is bringing the film image to the PC so that the both digital and film images can be compared side by side. this introduces several variables: The choice of scanning hardware, and the parameters of the scanning software. The next challenge is that digital and film images fall apart in different ways at the limits.

SpinRite and ScanDisk are entirely different types of products. ScanDisk replaces the original DOS CHKDSK command, which verified the logical file system structure of the hard drive (the newer CHKDSK command no longer performs that function). The long answer: if you just want to access a repository, then you only need to build a Subversion client. If you want to host a networked repository, then you need to set up either Apache2 or an "svnserve" server. If you want WebDAV and all the other "goodies" that come with the Apache server, then yes, you'll need Apache 2.0. It's always an option to run Apache 2.

We run Apache as a front-end for Tomcat, using mod_jk. In this configuration, Apache sees all Web requests. It processes some itself, and hands others off to Tomcat for processing. If you would like Tomcat to handle other URL patterns, you need to request us to set that up for you. OJS 2.0.2 and newer have been tested on Microsoft Windows Server 2003 with IIS 6.0; earlier versions of OJS will need to be upgraded before they will function.
