If exporting into Outlook, please ensure that its contact fields correspond to Artsystems contact fields. Note: Outlook requires that imported e-mail fields be named "E-mail". Open the txt file just exported in the Word Pad program that can be accessed through START > PROGRAMS > ACCESSORIES > WORDPAD. The first line of the txt file will contain the field names. The 'Rules Wizard' dialog box will pop up. From the upper right hand side of the dialog box, select 'New' to create a new rule. You will be asked 'Which type of rule you do want to create?'. In the “Create or Open Outlook Data File” box, navigate to your home directory (“H” Drive) and click Open. Then Click OK. Generally, the Outlook email client will preview attached photo/html files. To minimise the chances of opening a virus file, you are advised to disable the preview function in MS Outlook or Outlook Express.
