You need a PHP-enabled webserver configured with the --with-xml option. Additionally it is highly recommended, that your webserver allows URL rewriting. Otherwise your served clients have to deal with long and user-unfriendly URL's.

Assigning a “Change Grades” proxy for a class section allows someone who is not assigned to teach a class to change grades for the class. Currently, multiple ePOST proxies are only supported if you have multiple ePOST addresses - ePOST is not designed to have two proxies for the same user online at the same time. However, we are looking at adding this feature in future versions. If you would like to run ePOST on two different machines for the same user, it is possible, but you must make sure that only one of the two proxies on online at a given time - otherwise, the proxies may both accept email, and you may miss some emails.

The installation ran, but I got an error message about registration and the Vox Proxy menu does not appear in PowerPoint. You have PowerPoint 97. Vox Proxy will run only on PowerPoint 2000 or newer.

Some ISPs and companies require all Web traffic to go through their proxy. In this case you would find your proxy configuration with values already set, possibly under Automatic Proxy Configuration (in the case of Netscape and MS-IE 3.0 and above).
