The classes that are sponsored by the Dance Center are all adult classes. We have an extensive array of classes avaiilable at many levels and in many dance forms. Go here to see a full listing of our current classes. Students younger than 13 are not allowed in open classes. If a teenager has a background in dance and can handle an adult level class, they are welcome to participate. Young students are encouraged to check out the programs available through LINES Ballet School.

No. This isn't an anti-smoking crusade. Most teenagers who smoke think they can quit whenever they want. They won't know they have a gorilla on their backs until they have tried to quit a couple of times. That's when they will be ready for this program.

Adults can be Aikido Kids, too! We will be offering a lunch-time fitness and self-defense class for Adults. No uniform required, just wear a comfortable t-shirt, and a pair of sweat pants. Progress at your own pace, and plan on having lots of fun while being serious about self-defense. Yes. We offer adult classes on Sunday mornings during both of the Sunday services. Some of these adult classes are age or life-stage specific, while others are topical. You can check them out any time you choose, and still attend the Sunday service during the other service time. These classes offer you the opportunity to meet others and grow. Yes. They will enjoy the “paddle raft.” Everyone works together as a team to maneuver the raft down the river. Often there are water fights and raft races. Some people swim or jump off rocks. The trip can also be educational as our guides know local history, geology, birds, flowers, salmon, gold mining and other lore. These trips are well-rounded entertainment for all ages. All of my books are appropriate in the sense that they deal with real life issues from a Christian perspective. But the ones I think they would enjoy most are A Moment of Weakness, Even Now followed by Ever After, and Redemption Series. Also A Thousand Tomorrows, and the Firstborn Series. Premenstrual symptoms can begin anytime after a woman begins to menstruate and, on average, menstruation begins at around 12 ½ years of age in the U.S. Women tend to seek treatment for premenstrual symptoms in their late twenties and early to mid-thirties, so it is difficult to know exactly when milder premenstrual symptoms actually become severe enough to be considered PMDD. Even though PMDD is usually first diagnosed after adolescence, it can certainly occur in teenagers.

Most teens do not use drugs, but for those who do, it can lead to a wide range of adverse effects on the brain, the body, behavior and health. Short term: Even a single use of an intoxicating drug can affect a person's judgment and decisonmaking—resulting in accidents, poor performance in a school or sports activity, unplanned risky behavior, and the risk of overdosing.

In fact I have read about whitening capsules containing Tyrostat (L Tyrosine), that makes the hair gray/white. Research has proved that it's much better to take the whitening capsules with an empty stomach.

The quiet and relaxed lifestyle of Paxos may not suit some teenagers, though there are three discos in Gaios. The water sports may, however, make up for the lack of night time excitement. There are plenty of boats available for hire from Gaios, Loggos and Lakka. Also in Lakka there is a water sports equipment rental shop and scuba diving school. An excursion to Anti-Paxos or a trip to the west coast Blue Caves may also keep teenagers happy.

There is a certified Special Education teacher and two to three aides who attend to the educational needs of the children during the five and a half hour school day. Some of the children may have their own 1:1 nurse or 1:1 aide, depending on the severity of the needs of the child.

YES. ADD symptoms do not necessarily go away as a person gets older. Adults can also benefit from neurofeedback training to the same extent as children. They can achieve long term improvement in attention span, impulse control, reading, listening skills, and time management. In addition, many adults also want assistance with stress and tension. For decreasing tension, neurofeedback of the brain waves can be combined with biofeedback.

Depending on the maturity level of the young adult, they may be eligible to workout in the adult boot camp as long as a guardian is in the program too. We encourage parents to workout with their children. It is a great bonding experience!

Yes, occasionally we have a retired adults available, usually a younger retired show cat. When we have these cats available they will be listed on our page CURRENTLY AVAILABLE, and they are also placed into homes at reduced rates. "Unlimited" means they will be charged whether they eat one slice of pizza or ten, once we see an adult eating or drinking the party will be charged accordingly.
