Yes, the Monorail system is completely ADA compliant. Wheelchairs, walkers, mobility scooters and motorized scooters that assist those with a disability are permitted on the Monorail. All Monorail stations have accessible elevator service to all levels. There is level boarding from the platform to all trains. All Monorail cars have space to accommodate mobility vehicles. Passengers boarding are required to place them in the locked position for the duration of the ride.

Unfortunately not. We are on the second floor of a building that only has stair access, so students who must use wheelchairs will not be able to get to the school. Yes, we do! Depending on the requests of students, we offer a variety of excursions, including an overnight stay on a farm, a day trip tour of Nagasaki, a weekend trip to the world's biggest caldera. We also run barbecues, visits to local festivals, and more, depending on the season.

Yes, the studios allow one person to be seated with a disabled guest on the floor but space is strictly limited. Most soundstages can only accommodate one or two wheelchairs or guests that cannot negotiate stairs on the studio floor due to space constraints and safety concerns. Yes, Disney Cruise Line? offers accessible staterooms and suites, equipped for Guests with disabilities. Features include ramped bathroom thresholds, open bed frames, added phones in the bathroom/nightstand, bathroom and shower handrails, fold-down shower seats, hand-held shower heads, lowered towel and closet bars, and Emergency Call Buttons. All staterooms are non-smoking.

The School of the Arts has two theatres - The Ensemble Theatre and The Mainstage Theatre. Both theatres meet all the codes of the Americans with Disabilities Act, and are fully accessible to patrons in wheelchairs (and strollers!).

Yes. The buses have a passenger lift at the rear of the vehicle. All the buses have webbing and restraints to make sure your wheelchair is secure and ensure your safety whilst travelling. It is recommended that you advise the travel centre that you are a wheelchair user, just in case another wheelchair user has booked at the same time as you. All the buses have space for one wheelchair user but more can be accommodated if the travel centre is advised.

On the lower level, there are two rooms that are accessible for a person in a wheelchair. However, we do not have an elevator in the school to reach the main floor or the second floor.

Yes both the half marathon and the family fun run are open to both unassisted and assisted wheelchair users. However, we recommend that only experienced wheelchair users, or those of a good standard of fitness take part in the half marathon due to the challenging and technical nature of some sections of the course. There will be a separate start for wheelchair users 5 minutes ahead of the main pack in both events.

ECVs (electric wheelchairs) will move about fine inside and most of outside CS... the only possible glitch being the narrow sidewalk and the suspension bridge as you approach the Dig Site from the Casita/Cabana side. There *is* handicapped access into the pool, wheelchair sign and everything.
