Some farm operators said that there should be regular meetings in which issues can be discussed. It gives everyone involved an opportunity to speak up. Parents should be willing to listen to new ideas that sons and daughters might have.

The library offers meeting rooms for public use. Abbot Library has both a Meeting Room and a Conference Room available for use by the general public. Reservations must be made in advance by calling 781-631-1481 during Library hours. The Meeting Room accommodates 100 chairs and has a speaker system available. Also available are a podium, a projection screen and an overhead projector. An Internet connection is available. Kitchen facilities are also available.

Divisions hold meetings that may be attended by any AAS member. The DPS and the DDA each hold one meeting a year separate from the AAS general Meetings. Yes. These conferences have been found by our users to be enlightening and educational. They have also found them to be great for networking and promoting higher levels of use of the pathways for their organizations.

Most states do not require regular membership or management meetings. Jim - Absolutely.  The group provides support for families and caregivers as well as for stroke survivors.  In fact, that's a very important part of our mission, because a stroke affects the whole family, not just the person who had it.  Leanne - Most family members really like the meetings because they benefit, too.  They get to hear things they might not hear otherwise.  Both stroke survivors and family have permission here to say what's on their minds.

What Is My Share of the Food? The weekly food share includes an average of 7 to 11 items for full shares, and 4 to 6 for partial shares. Less early and late in the season, and more at peak season. Bulk quantities can be purchased for canning, freezing, and storage. Special products from other small New York State farmers and producers are also available for purchase.
