You create and publish the calendar using iCal. You can then use either the Edit Group page or the group page to select the calendar from your list of published calendars and make it available to the group via the group page. As the group owner, you can use the Manage Group Membership page to remove an individual from group membership at any time.

When a calendar is published, it is uploaded to a web server, so that it can be accessed through the Internet. Calendar applications that support publishing calendars usually do so via WebDAV or FTP. New users should consider using a calendar hosting service like .Mac or iCal Exchange. More advanced users may wish to publish their calendars to an existing web server. Posting an article or image to a group is just like posting content to the rest of the Gather community. The only difference is that group owners place permissions on their group that either allow or prevent other members from publishing to their group. When a group owner has set their group to allow others to publish to it, you go through the typical publishing process and simply select the group you want to publish to. The list of groups you belong to will be listed in the content options.

Yes. You can easily create a PDF version of the calendar from any view or range of dates using a PDF print driver. Alternatively, you can publish your calendar as a web page. In any folder you can write to, create a new icalendar object from the add to folder menu. Follow the instructions and upload an .ics file. Once it is in the Public Folder all that have access to the folder can drag the group Calendar up to their My Calendar listing to see it alongside theirs. If you do not have a Public Folder, you can create it in your Calendar list. Once it is created you can right click on the Calendar to Share it with other Group members.

All members have access to this calendar, and may use it to determine if other members will be visiting the parks during the same dates. Yes. If you're using a Mac with iCal, go to the group page and click Subscribe next to the group calendar. That will add it to the calendars you view using iCal. Some PC users with software that has support for webcal protocol or webcal://URL can also subscribe to the group calendar.

By default Outlook will publish your calandar data for two months in advance for users that you have permitted access. If you wish to change this value, or if you wish to stop your calendar data being published entirely, then proceed as follows: In the "Calendar Preferences" window click on the Free/Busy Options... button and a window similar to this appears: Set the value to 0 to stop publishing your free/busy information, or to some other value depending on how much data you wish to publish.
