Courses which are not approved by TDLR as continuing education courses can not be used for license renewal. If the college course is a TDLR approved continuing education course, then the course hours can be used for license renewal. Only technology courses taken at Ivy Tech which transfer in as credit to Purdue University may be used for teacher license renewal. Other courses taken at Ivy Tech for the purpose of license renewal must transfer to Purdue University and be approved by a licensing advisor.
