The following standard questions were extracted from page 71 of Cottage Life magazine, March 2005. These questions are recommended to be asked before renting any cottage, so as to avoid disappointment. BBay's answers to each of these questions is provided. Foam mattress and pillow is on each bed. You are expected to bring your own sleeping bag, or sheets and blankets, towels, face cloths, and pillow case.

You have two options. You can go North in Michigan using I-75 till you get to Sault St. Marie, then cross into Canada. Turning East, you follow the Trans-Canada Highway back to Espanola, then go South to Manitoulin Island and the town of Little Current. Once you have crossed the swing bridge to Little Current, you go West to West Bay (M'Cheeg), and then South to Mindemoya, then South-west to Providence Bay. See maps for details.

If you just look at the picture on the main page of our web site, and jump to the conclusion that BBay is what you've been looking for, you may be surprised or disappointed. For the scenic route, take Hwy 401 West towards Brampton, then Hwy 410 North, then Hwy 7, then Hwy. 10, then Hwy 6 to Tobermory. For the "fast" route, go North on Hwy. 400, then cut West along Hwy 89 to Aliston, then up Hwy 6 to Tobermory

Our representatives will meet you at the Larsen Bay landing strip and drive you approx. 1 mile to the lodge.

Rock collections. This area has a collection of sedimentary, igneous, and metamorphic rocks of all shapes & sizes. Did you know that gold freezes out in igneous rock right next to quartz (the bright white or clear crystalline rock) Fossils. The sedimentary flat rock at the beach is dolomite formed on the bottom of a vast ocean millions of years ago. There are millions of fossils in this rock; plants, animals, insects, fish, etc. Looking for 5 minutes is bound to find a fossil.

Big Mountain Ski Resort is located approximately 8 miles from the Lodge, and the drive up the mountain, with its spectacular views of Whitefish Lake, is well worth it in any season. (Not to be confused with Big Sky Ski Resort which is located 8 hours south of us.)

Canada is our northern neighbor, with Calgary about 5 hours away and Fernie about 1? hrs. Please keep in mind when crossing the border that you must have a drivers license and birth certificate and/or passport.

Most of the fishing we do is within 15 minutes of the lodge. Our boats are fast, comfortable and stable fishing machines which can whisk you to the fishing areas. If things are a bit slow or if fishermen wish a change of scenery, it is only 20 minutes from the lodge across the inlet, or 45 minutes to the permit area near the head of the inlet.

We do often book one full year in advance, however, dates are open throughout the year and the best thing to do is simply contact us as soon as the date of the special occasion or conference has been chosen to see about availability.

Weather depending, it is a 2 hour 15 minute to 3 hour drive from Anchorage to Soldotna B&B Lodge. It is a relatively easy drive on a well-maintained federal highway. There are some mountainous, curvy sections; however, the driving is not that difficult. It is an absolutely beautiful drive and if you have additional time, there are numerous places to stop along the way for sightseeing and photo taking.

Serenada Lodge, restaurant, conference centre and golf course is only 12 minutes from Rangiora and 40 minutes from Christchurch. Certainly not! The golf course is open to casual players for a small green fee and is popular with Canterbury locals keen to enjoy a round of golf and a lovely weekend lunch. We also have full bar facilities so you can relax with a cold beer after a round of golf!

Pa Ngam Mountain Lodge is located in Nadee district in Prachinburi province -- about 200 kilometers, or a two-and-a-half hour drive, from Bangkok. To be more specific, we're in Buphram sub-district, where during the rainy and winter, a sea of mist blankets the hills and valleys. For the past thirty years or so, Buphram has been home to a special type of chestnut plams, called a Lan tree in Thai, which thrives in the distinctive climate of the area.

From Manzanillo buses leave at 5:00, 8:15 and 17:00 hours. They pass at the Tree house about 10 minutes later, but can be earlier. This bus gets about 2 hours later in limon. In Puerto Viejo many more buses stop. To San Jose buses leave at: 7:00, 9:00, 11:00 and 16:00 hours. From San Jose to Puerto Viejo buses leave at the terminal de caribe or also know as Autotransportes Mepe. They leave at: 6:00, 10:00, 13:30 and 15:30 hours. From Puerto Viejo to the Tree House you will have to take a taxi.

We are just a two minute drive from the Guadalupe River and River Road. Most area outfitters (tube, raft & kayak rentals) are located along River Road.

Captain Sundown's NaPali Sailing adventure starts from Hanalei Bay is only "7" minutes from most Princeville and North Shore resorts and is where the NaPali coastline starts. Departing from Port Allen requires an early morning 2.5 hour drive from Kauai's North shore resorts. This means you need to be on the road by 4 or 5 a.m. just to make check-ins, followed by a "23 mile boat ride" just to reach the NaPali from Port Allen.

The word "lodge" means both a group of Masons meeting in some place and the room or building in which they meet. Masonic buildings are also sometimes called "temples" because much of the symbolism Masonry uses to teach its lessons comes from the building of King Solomon's Temple in the Holy Land. The term "lodge" itself comes from the structures which the stonemasons built against the sides of the cathedrals during construction.

Most people fly into Anchorage, rent a car, and then drive to Soldotna B&B Lodge (see below). However, you may also fly from Anchorage Airport to Kenai Airport (around a 15-20 minute flight which costs around $150-$175 per person). Then, you may either rent a car at the Kenai Airport or take a cab to Soldotna B&B Lodge. It is only about a 15 minute drive from the Kenai Airport to Soldotna B&B Lodge.

The Silver Strike Lodge is 45 minutes from the Salt Lake International Airport, most of it an easy drive on Interstate 80.

The Silver Strike Lodge falls within the Park City limits, and is approximately five minutes from the dining and shops of downtown Park City.

It is suggested that you make you hotel reservations very early in the year especially if your stay involves a weekend. Hotel rooms are limited on the Island and booking early will help insure you get the dates you want. The regional airport is located just north of Napier and is only a 5 minute drive from your Sail-A-Way apartment.

The cayes and first class diving, as well as incredible salt water fishing is a 20-30 minute boat ride. Some of the best fishing and diving in all of Belize is located directly East of Sanctuary Bay.

It depends where in the bay area and what the traffic is like. From the San Francisco International Airport it is about 4 hours in good traffic.
