The size to which any digital photo can be enlarged depends completely on the resolution, in pixels, of the original digital file. The higher the resolution, the larger the image can be printed and maintain the original quality. By processing your digital file through our specialized software, and maintaining certain parameters known to yield original quality results, we can determine the largest size possible with your particular file. No charge for this service.

EZ Digital Photos, LLC uses state-of-the-art Fuji Frontier digital printers designed for professional photofinishers. The exposed photographic paper is chemically processed in the same way as in traditional photo labs, meaning you get the same high quality prints for your digital images as you would from a film camera.

If you are running Windows XP, you can view this information by examining the properties of the file in question - although this will not display all of the information stored in the EXIF header. If you are running a different OS or want to see more of the information in the EXIF header, there are other options. My favorite is PixVue (Free). Some others:

Make your photos dimensionally any size you want. However, keeping the DATA size of your photos small is important. In the 'Edit Images' pane, you'll see the image data size just below the thumbnail. To allow for people who use modems to easily browse your site, I'd recommend keeping the images under 100K. Setting the size to around 30 - 60k will make them happy. There are two ways to do this: 1) Reduce the dimensions -- for example, change the width to 500 pixels.

If you don't have access to a scanner, take your photos to a camera or copy/printing store and have them scanned and made accessible from your computer. You may also have images burned to a Photo CD at a photo processing store from your negatives.

Digital photos usually make excellent photos for collages and they are easy to submit online. You should use the higher resolution settings with lower compression. We suggest that you use at least a 2 megapixel camera for images used in our collages. If a photo you send can’t be used because of quality issues, we’ll let you know and request a higher resolution replacement.

Our professional quality digital cameras have the ability to take black and white or sepia digital photos, however, the preferred method is to take color pictures and then "desaturate" them using software afterwards. It is safer to shoot in color and change it later.

Sure. We do, however, highly recommend you use a minimum 1.3 mega pixel, and preferably a 2.1 mega pixel or higher camera to take your shots with. Older cameras with lower resolutions will produce visibly inferior photos which produce inferior quality imprints.
